I hate hearing right-wingers complain about transgender people because the fact they exist is mostly their fault.
Surprise, surprise, people want to be themselves, and if they’re denied the freedom of gender nonconformity as children, they’re going to carry those rigid gender roles with them into adulthood and feel pressured to transition because they were implicitly taught that transitioning, especially if it’s hidden well enough, is more normal than presenting how they want but as their biological sex.
