after class 📓with mick
@prof-walker
The whole class was spend being either confused or sorry. Confused, since he didn’t understand more than half of what the professor was teaching; and sorry, since every time he raised his wand he made a mess someone else should clean. He didn’t dare to look up at his teacher, he wasn’t sure if he was nice or evil like some of the other subject’ professors. Defense Against the Dark Arts was a very important subject, it made sense if Mick was rigorous with his students. For their own sake, it was better to have a teacher who demanded a lot from their students, and Jimin knew that. But given the circumstances, he really could only hope for everything less than that.
When the end of the class finally came, when finally the infinite stretching of time that made it seem like the class lasted for hours gave itself an end, Jimin was the first one to get up and gather his things to leave. He threw all his books in his bag, his wand inside his robes and almost tripped while leaving. He was shaking from embarrassment and frustration — he never failed like this at anything. Mostly it was just him being shy toward being do bad at DADA in front of everyone, but it was also a bit of ‘why the hell can’t I do this?’ feeling. He stopped halfway to the door to fix his books in his bag — the careless way he just threw them in there made it hard to carry it. Meanwhile, every other student left already. Suddenly he found himself alone with the teacher. He raised his head as he realized this, and tried to turn away slowly without him noticing.
