Prompto pointed at the glowing enchantments in the rock around them. “A safe haven is only as safe as the oracle runes around it and that doesn’t look very safe to me.” He was no expert but he was pretty sure the runes weren’t supposed to flicker like that, like candles that were about to be extinguished by a breeze. “And it’s nightfall in about an hour.”
If Prompto hadn’t gotten lucky, and landed the position as the head photographer’s assistant, he would have no business being in Shinra HQ. He looked around amazed, taking in the huge building he was currently standing in, while his boss was talking to some Shinra employee. Of course Prompto was also interested whether he can catch a glimpse of a SOLDIER.
Unfortunately, all he saw were some maintenance guys, secretaries or some men in black suits, at least until a dark-haired man with a huge sword on his back entered through the front door. Prompto barely heard what his boss said (”I’m going upstairs, don’t break anything until I’m gone”), and only had eyes for what must be a SOLDIER.
