Ladybug held out a box for Chat Noir. "I've heard through the grapevine that it's your birthday soon, so... I made you something," she smiled, slapping a post-it on top of the box with a phone number. "Oh, and this too. I bought a burner to let you keep in touch with me outside of the costume. It's pay as you go, so... don't worry /too/ much if I just stop texting or whatever. Sorry!" Inside the box was a neon green scarf with black pawprints and all over it. -- (( LB @ Chat ))
--Who could’ve known when his birthday was? For all the citizens of Paris knew, he could just make up a separate birthday for the Chat persona. He never even thought to do that, either, so maybe it was all deductions based on looks/behavior? Either way...
Ladybug was presenting him with a gift. She was personally presenting him something for his supposed birthday. If his heart stopped now, he could die happy.
“For me~? My Lady, I would’ve never guessed you had such a soft spot like this, thank you!” He held the scarf carefully with both hands, taking in the design, the stitching. “Did you make this yourself?” It must’ve taken a few hours if she had. He had to admit though, it was a rather cute accessory.
Shame he wouldn’t be able to wear it while not under the mask.
