Now that we're finally getting more Princess and the Frog rep in the parks, there's something else I want.

Obviously, I want a real life Tiana's Palace restaurant. I've wanted that since I was 9/when the movie first came out.

But you know what ELSE I want?

You know how with the new Beauty and the Beast section of Fantasyland, they made Gaston a regular meet and greet character?

I want them to do that with Doctor Facilier!!

I made a 3d model of Tiana in Blender! I wondered how she looked with 4a hair, EDIT August 22, 2018: It’s actually 4b hair because of the tighter curls! I used my own hair texture as reference.  :D

This took me a few hours to do (like five or six hours, because it’s been a while since I last modeled a character in blender and I’m still learning) , and I didn’t realize until later that I got her eye color wrong. ( > ___ < ) I’ll do better next time! 

Her hair was done in sections (with parts of the head with different vertex weights) using images as planes with a slight bend to match the way natural hair falls. I tried using some small low poly curls, but the image planes had more volume when applied. I’m still gonna try in the future to get more low poly curls and have more variance, because image planes only have so many dimensions and can look flat. 

 I’m going to try and keep doing better because I really love seeing Tiana with 4a hair! ;w; I also did some very slight adjustments to correct skin color in post process in Clip studio paint.
