out of all the things my parents taught me in life, there’s one that really stood out to me, they always say: be flexible. i’m a stubborn idealist by nature and when things do’t go the way i planned them to, i get frustrated. they told me that not everyone gets to go straight to where they want in life. sometimes you have to cross multiple paths to reach your destination. (”and you’re one of the few that gets the privilege to try out different options before you get there, kay. you’ll get there, just be patient - appreciate the opportunity God gave to you for now and make it worthwhile.) lmao this went deeper than i initially intended it to be?? we were just talking about my future job??

i uh,, my idealistic personality i guess?? i strive to be as close to perfect as much as i can and some actually find it endearing… i hope that translates to my work
