Where I see everyone as being in my Legion post canon timeline that blends w/ Fox X-Men:

Melanie: had a complicated marriage to Oliver before ultimately divorcing him. Authors books and conducts research mostly on Feminism and isn't particularly involved with mutants after Oliver.

Oliver: becomes a mutant rights activist, works with Charles Xavier frequently but takes a different more pacifistic route about mutant advocacy. Dies of an overdose before 1980.

Ptonomy: I definately see him more as a Brotherhood of Mutants kinda guy. Would move to Geonosha if he lives to see it.

Cary and Kerry: Them I could see working with Charles as he founds the X-Men. Cary especially is a believer but Kerry has her doubts about Charles vs. Erik. She draws the line at costumes and he has reservations about being an open mutant. Ultimately theyre allies but not central X-Men team members.

Syd: Lives a private life. Becomes a successful artist and curator. Has only a few short lived relationships before ultimately deciding they aren't for her. Rogue is the result of one of them and Syd makes the executive decision to put her up for adoption. She keeps her identity as a mutant almost entirely to herself and keeps an eye on mutant politics from a distance.

Gabrielle: I think ultimately Charles leaves her and by extension David. He sends them money regularly but I dont see her recovering from the separation from him well. I see a lot of instability for her, maybe even suicide unfortunately. Maybe she remarries into the Haller family or she is deemed unfit and David gets taken from her care and placed with the Hallers so that David still becomes David Haller eventually.

David: his life is still a mess even without intervention by the Shadow King. For the purposes of sticking him in the New Mutants I kinda comic book finagle him into the future but in a less Fox Canon compliant verse this doesnt need to happen I guess. He is aware via Gabrielle of the identity of his father and is not fond of him or the X-Men as a whole.

Jia Yi I could see being a proper X-Man until her time comes to join her father.

Clark has a much more normal life I'm guessing. Division 3, if it exists here will be absorbed by another agency at some point. Being a universe closer to ours I'm guessing he and his partner arent open at least not at first in their careers.

Lenny... uhhh lets be optimistic and say she really does get her shit together eventually.

"He rejected Farouk," Dvd says, certain. "We did it together, we killed that asshole together."

"He only did it because we pushed him there," Ptonomy admits. "He wasn't ready, and now this is the pushback. You go out there and push him again, it's gonna be even worse."

"So what, we let Farouk win?" Dvd challenges.

"Absolutely not," Ptonomy says. "But you can't heal David by overwhelming him with love. You never could and I think you've always known that."

"Fuck you," Dvd says, stung.
