New handspun "Rustic Autumn Comfort" is available on our website now 🍁 A single skein of handspun yarn, made from our Pumpkin Cream colorway on Finn wool. Artistic spiral thread-plied yarn construction at approximately DK weight (Craft Yarn Council 3 - Light), 247 yards/110 grams. The colors are rich, slowly shifting from cream to warm pumpkin twined with gold metallic thread. This skein came out with a light and drapey character!
Don't forget, we do still have two skeins of our last batch of handspun yarn in the shop, with four new ones coming by the end of the month! 🧶 This is "Rustic Autumn Comfort," a spiral-plied art yarn in our Pumpkin Cream colorway on our Finn base, and we also have a beautiful fractal Beachrise skein on Merino named "Half the World," visible a ways back on our feed or on our website!

"A Warm Mug" now available in our shop ☕ A single skein of handspun yarn, made from our Pumpkin Cream colorway on Rambouillet wool. 2ply yarn construction at sport weight (Craft Yarn Council 2 - Fine), 382 yards/85 grams. The colors are marled, shifting from cream to warm pumpkin with areas of both high and low contrast. This skein came out very lightweight and soft!
What are the things you've learned throughout your lives, both on your own, and with your friends (and Clotty, of course)?
The HCH has gone through it, but like true gamers, they gained experience from it and ascended to greater levels! Gotta give them the respect they deserve!
So this one's more character-development-centered than anything, and while some of their stories are still ongoing, it's important to address the progress they've made so far!

For our #tbt post this week I'm digging into my unpublished photo archive for this WIP shot of a plying bobbin in progress 🎃 Thread plied yarn is always a fun change from more traditional yarn structures, and I love color matching threads to the wool singles.
