Officially booked my dream wedding venue for a fall wedding in New England.
Berserk German punk diva Nina Hagen with her cute jail bait "husband" Iroquois as featured on the cover of her 1987 EP Punk Wedding. They met in Rome in 1985 and were married on 9 August 1987. Iroquois was 17 and the blushing bride was 32, but Hagen insisted to the LA Times she was blithely unconcerned about the age difference: “It has nothing to do with age. To get old is a mental disease. Everything is in the head.” The identity of Iroquois feels shrouded in mystery: sometimes he is referred to as a Spaniard, sometimes as South African. Apparently, despite Hagen's claims at the time, they never actually got legally married. It was a publicity stunt worthy of Jayne Mansfield!

This isn't an actual wedding, but a styled shoot. Vendors and photographers work together to show off their skill sets, or to showcase something they'd be interested in doing for real. The concept behind this beautiful set is 'Halloween Picnic' which was put together in 24-hours.
I think I'd love the idea more if it wasn't Halloween focused, because really this type of wedding could happen any time of the year. All the black, there's this thought that it can only be done around Halloween... as if gothic people aren't like this all year long.
