From my personal development reading this morning- “Stop counting other people’s money”🙌🏽🙅🏼‍♀️ (and then it got my wheels turning🤔) YOUR happiness is dependent on what brings YOU joy & deep fulfillment. And if that’s tied up in something you DON’T have... you’re never going to be happy. If it’s tied up in something that everyone ELSE has- you’re going to be lonely AND unhappy. Ya see, Jealousy and playing the comparison game is one of those things that doesn’t effect the other person you’re comparing yourself to -ONE little bit.😳 It only effects YOU. So why the heck do we do it?! I think- because we get stuck, and simply forget to look and really SEE all that’s around us. This little pup means the world to me. Micah Phoebe Buffay my Labrador Retriever. We're on a rocky road right now but in moments when I'm in defeat Micah ALWAYS knows how to comfort me. It's the strangest thing. She just knows. I tell her everyday that I will take care of her, I will take care of US no matter what. When I have to leave for work, she knows and I always remind her that I'm coming back to her. It's difficult leaving her even just for a few hours you know? In this new strange place. She's anxious and alone at time. I just remind myself that I have her and she has me. I try to comfort her every moment I can. I'm so attached to her. She's my rock. My support. My comfort.
