Prompt: Bigender (#pw28)
Bigender : a person whose personal identity encompasses two genders.
Prompt: Superheroes (#pw alt28)
We're reaching the end of our challenge! Let's kick off the final few prompts with something classic! For all the superhero stories out there, queer rep is sorely lacking in the genre, particularly for video media; use this prompt as a chance to create the heroes you want to see. Alternatively, twist this prompt and show us all the villains you want.
James sighed, then sat up in bed. “Will.”
Silence.
“Will.”
A grumble.
“Will Daniel, wake up. I need to tell you something.”
Another grumble, but through the darkness James could see his brother slowly sitting up. “It is god-fuck in the morning, why the hell are you waking me up?”
“I—I need to tell you something.”
James saw a flash of light from Will’s bed as he checked the time. “It is four in the fucking morning.”
“Will, please.”
Will sighed, letting his phone drop. “Okay. If it’s long, I can’t guarantee I won’t fall asleep though.”
James bit his lip, but he’d already woken Will up, and he knew if he chickened out now Will wouldn’t let him live it down. “I—I’m bi.”
There was a pause, but James screwed his eyes shut, not even brave enough to face his brother through the darkness.
Finally, Will spoke. “James, I love you, and I literally do not give any fucks who you date as long as you’re happy and they’re not a dick. But you couldn’t have told me this when it’s not four in the goddamn morning?”
James winced. “I—sorry,” he apologized.
Will sighed, and James heard the distinct sound of him flopping back in bed. “Love you, you do you, wake me up at four in the morning for anything other than a legit life-threatening emergency again and I will end you.”
“Okay.” James couldn’t help the relieved laugh that bubbled from his chest. “Thanks Will.”
Will’s only response was an unintelligible grumble, muffled by his pillows.
