Jihoon grimaced as he looked back down the beach towards the spot you two had chosen to set your things down. He had gotten a little too exited looking at all the foreign snacks and ended up buying a few too many...

With you down at the other side of the beach, it was up to him to make his way through the crowded boardwalk and back to you alone.

All I came here for was to buy ice cream for Y/n... Jihoon thought sadly as he felt the first droplets of the melting ice cream hitting his hands. I guess I should have gotten the ice cream last.

He gave one last look over his shoulder at the vendor waving goodbye at him before starting forward. He could barely see over the bags of chips, cones of fries, ice cream, and other various snacks piled into his arms.

He had never apologized so many times in his life. “Sorry, sorry!” was all he could say as he repeatedly bumped into almost everyone that tried to pass him.

Once he finally got to the stairs and could finally see you just beyond the nearest sunbathers, he breathed a sigh of relief-

Until he realized he had miscalculated the distance between the smooth boardwalk and the first step downwards.

Jihoon immediately fell forward, his arms flinging out to release the snacks he had just bought, ice cream included, only to catch himself moments later on the railing.

Jihoon had saved himself just in time before his knees, face, or hands had hit the stairs but...

“Ahhh!! Are you serious?!?”

“Jihoon, what the hell??” Y/n had run up to him the moment they had seen him falling. “How many snacks did you get? I thought you were just getting ice cream! Jesus.” Y/n looked around, shaking their head slowly as Jihoon straightened up on the stair case. “There are chips and fries everywhere.”

He grimaced the moment you realized he’d dropped the ice cream in the sand too, your eyes widening in disbelief. “Well Y/n... I guess it just wasn’t meant to be...”

“Pyo Jihoon you better turn your butt back and get me my ice cream!” Y/n laughed despite the fact that the one thing they had wanted was completely ruined by Jihoon’s clumsiness. “I won’t go without it just because you decided you wanted to sample the local food!”

He laughed sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck before nodding quickly in agreement. “Yah, sorry Y/n. Come on, lets go together this time so I don’t drop everything again.”

“Wait, everything? Are you seriously getting all those snacks again Jihoon?”

“Well duh!!” He laughed at Y/n’s indignant look. “I dropped all of it in the sand! I can’t eat it now! Thankfully this time though, I have you to help me carry it.”

After not seeing your boyfriend Jihoon for two months due to his busy schedule, tomorrow his arrival meant the world to you. You stayed up on the phone with him till he left for the airport late at night, so you were too tired to be awake when he finally arrived home. You woke up to the feeling of comforting warmth from his strong arms draped around you. Nothing could beat this feeling. You turn around in his arms and face him, seeing his squished face against the pillow was almost too much for your heart to take. Since he’s only have been half asleep so the slight moving and your staring would be enough to wake him up. He wakes up, slightly opening one of his eyes to look at you. “Hey, cutie.” He says and his deep voice makes your heart skip a beat. You smile and respond, “Hey.” He smiles back and moves his head down and snuggles to your neck leaving a few soft kisses there. “Baby, I just want to stay home with you all day. Let’s not do anything.” You, of course, comply happily and snuggle to him more. You two lay there in bed for the remainder of the day just enjoying each other’s company.
