“--from the chandeli-ie-ieeer!!” It seemed only right to finish up the set with something upbeat. She’d gone for a few queer anthems, from George Michael to Lana Del Rey, a few love songs, a couple emo moments, one of her own songs, and a few well-known bangers, hoping to satisfy almost everyone. Pepper had been keeping herself busy the last few months between tattooing clients at the shop and improving on her guitar, enough to spring for an electric with some of her tips. She’d brought it out for the first time tonight, a risky move in her mind, but it seemed to have payed off. She pulled the strap over her shoulder as she headed offstage, blowing a couple ( probably unwarranted ) kisses. It was nice to feel good enough about herself to jokingly flirt with an audience. She was starting to have doubts again, like she did every couple months, especially with how quiet things had been at home. But this was a nice distraction. She smiled at the first face that greeted her at the bottom of the short set of steps. “How was it? You having a lit time?”
