aroace sirius in a qpr with aroace peter and they didn’t even want to be, sirius really hated peter at first, thought he was lousy and irrelevant, and peter was terrified of sirius at first, thought he was capable of murder (which he still might be), but then they kind of got stuck together in many pranks gone wrong and when james is too busy moping about his lack of love life, they both struggle not to roll their eyes, and when remus is too busy moping about how no one will ever love him back (he won’t say it, but sirius and peter know that’s what it is), they have no clue how to help except buy him chocolate. when james is emotionally starved and remus is emotionally unavailable, sirius and peter figure out how to fill the gaps, because they have the kind of love that you can rely on forever, and it’ll never change, never fade, never leave. they somehow bring lovers together despite not feeling or understanding what that is, and it turns out they’re heroes in the relationship department which makes them glance at each other in extreme confusion. all they know is that love is far too complicated for what it’s worth, and they prefer sticking together in these types of situations that make them feel uncomfortable.
