Did you know? After the destruction of R4-P17 at the hand of some buzz droids, Obi-Wan teamed up with a droid named R4-G9. The new "Arfour" had a bronze color scheme chosen by members of Hyperspace: The Official Star Wars Fan Club as part of a promotion.

R4-G9 was an R4-series astromech droid in service to the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars. G9 was assigned to Aayla Secura’s blue Eta-2 Actis-class interceptor, which on occaision the Jedi Master loaned to Obi-Wan Kenobi. R4-G9 had a link with R4-P17, Kenobi’s droid, in order to transfer flight information. As with most R4-series in service to the Order, R4-G9′s dome was of a R2 unit.

My last droid from this set of customs is R4-G9 from Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Not 100% screen accurate but still a cool little droid imho.

2. R4-G9

So let the random droids begin!  Actually G9 isn't so random as she is assigned to Obi-Wan Kenobi for a while whilst his other droid is ummm doing something and his ship is being ummm upgraded (?).  I actually hadn't considered gender allocation to astromech droids but apparently G9 is a lady droid.
