honestly the best thing to do with the Israel/Palestine thing is just read as many articles from many different news sources because while Israel has definitely gone overboard and need to be stopped it is a bit of a stretch for people to say Palestine (really Hamas, the organization who is in the conflict) is completely innocent which is what most people on tumblr will say

I'll give you this; I think there are certain places where a gun may not be needed (think cities, more populated areas where law enforcement is close by). However, in rural areas, where sometimes police can be 40-50 minutes away, I think it's perfectly acceptable for someone to carry a gun on them. We obviously disagree a lot on guns, which is fine. It's a good conversation to have.
Yeah, I understand where you're coming from on that. But that raises the question, when is it appropriate to have a gun? When the police are 20 minutes away? 30? It becomes very difficult to decide. Yep, it's definitely important to talk about.
