Our friend @shar0ck was in town from NYC so we went to Kissa Tanto. Here’s some of what we ate: pizzoccheri, a buckwheat & nori pasta, with fermented cabbage paired perfectly with the sharpness of fontina; confit tuna layered within a mound of smoked mash which we then schmeared over bruschetta generously ladened with tobiko; pork korokke with a to die for brown butter tonkatsu sauce; and a beautiful yuzu cream for dessert (stewed pears, crumbled pistachios and cashews and a drizzle of olive oil) 😍💚 Not shown: the paccheri, a smoked pork belly ragu, which we swiftly made short work of before anyone could take pics.
