Sorry this was so long in coming, but it's here now! Raiyn's story is finally here, and we will be updating every 2 weeks to accomodate work and life. Nicki also plans on writing up a "story thus far" summary in case anyone is lost and/or doesn't want to reread everything cuz we get it it's a lot 😂

I might be doing my math wrong, but I looked at their ages the other day and Raiyn is 6 now and I don't know how to feel about that...

And Pippa is 14... how?

Pippa is bored cuz Hershel keeps making her study all the time lol. I also wanted to give a callback to a hairstyle I gave her ages ago, hopefully, it means she's growing up a bit.

All Together 

I wanted to do a big piece of all the Oniverse characters together because I love them all so much! There are definitely some characters I wish I could have included, but I wanted to narrow it down as much as I could so I could complete it. They are like one big extended/found family and it makes me so happy.

So, does Raiyn's speech patterns have anything to do with his patterns? 4 year olds can talk in short yet developing sentences, yet he speaks in broken sentences.

Yeah Raiyn’s lack of speech development was intentional. Nicki works with four year olds on a daily basis so she has a good idea of where they should be developmentally.

It’s supposed to be that his brain is busy developing and dealing with his powers, to the point where his speech development has fallen behind. He also speaks in third person because it’s difficult for him to differentiate himself from others, since he can feel their emotions constantly as well as see glimpses of their futures. So he refers to himself in the third person to make sure people understand he’s talking about himself, because to him that’s a difficult concept to grasp.

Nicki also thinks it’s cool and kinda spooky to have this baby oracle speak in the third person exclusively haha
