🦷 There's a scene I have planned for the Piano AU which I'll have to write sooner rather than later. I don't want to spoil it too much, but I can say that it'll involve an ear piercing. Why am I dreading it? The Girl with the Pearl Earring is why (mysterious? yes, but if you know, you know). No snippet because I haven't started it yet, but I can share a snippet of a scene it's paralleling, since that's already written

💥 This one is hard to answer, because there's a few, all of them from the Piano AU! I'm very excited to write Charles and Edwin's first kiss, Charles and Niko's first meeting... There's a lot. If I have to choose a favourite though, I think I'll have to go with the epilogue of that fic - it holds a special place in my heart for a reason, and I am dreading and anxiously anticipating getting around to it in equal measure. Snippet:

"[...] So, yeah, I think that's all. To the moon, Pa, see you in a few." There's some background noise before the message disconnects. He waits a beat before putting the phone back down on the nightstand, and then gets up and pats to the kitchen.

🤔 Jerry, definitely Jerry. I cannot wait to get him on paper! He's already so camp and flamboyant in my head, and I only hope I'll do him justice. I'll remain forever grateful to @read-write-thrive for letting me borrow him for the post-canon case fic!
