❝ Come on, amigos. We don't want this to get nasty. ❞
Perhaps it was a less-than-bright idea to wander the endless
streets of Sector Four alone in the evening, though to say
that Sombra hadn't been in situations like this before was a
lie. Granted, her days in Los Muertos were long past, but a
few cocksure thugs only after a quick steal weren't anything to
be particularly worried about. The three men seemed like they
did want things to get nasty, however, which was quite the
inconvenience. They moved closer, one brandishing a rather
dirty-looking pocket knife in an attempt to intimidate the hacker.
Sombra sighed. She wasn't exactly prepared for a fight. A bb-gun
hung at her hip where her machine pistol might have been,
laughably out of place from the rest of her neon cyber-getup. She
had no money on her, as she had yet to find her own apartment,
nor anything else of real value besides her cybernetics. Besides,
they were unlikely to believe her if she told them so... And even
more likely to try and rip the tech out of her if she did.
The guy with the knife lunged forward, and Sombra dived hard to
the left, rolling just out of reach of the blade, though it managed to
rip through the tails of her coat. The momentum threw her directly
into the path of a stranger, though she had no time to apologize,
as the trio of crooks started to advance.
