An imaginary conversation with Buck and Ravi

Buck: I’m bisexual

Ravi: No shit

Buck: What?

Ravi: Dude you aren’t exactly subtle

Buck: but I just realized

Ravi: no way

Buck: yes!

Ravi: but I’ve seen you check out guys on call?

Buck: I was admiring their muscles most of the time

Ravi: so that’s what you told yourself?

Buck: whatever, I have a boyfriend

Ravi: uh…duh?

Buck: what do you mean duh???

Ravi: I thought you and Eddie were married with a son when I first joined. You guys were so domestic that when I found out you were only dating and Christopher was Eddie’s son, I was so shocked.

Buck:… I’m not dating Eddie

Ravi: YOU GUYS BROKE UP?!

Buck: WE WERE NEVER TOGETHER

Ravi: But Chris…

Buck: I’m just helping my best friend out! Eddie is straight.

Ravi: oh my god my life is a lie

I kinda want Ravi and Eddie to be paired up at one point

And Ravi is the one who talks about Buck all the time and Eddie is there silently listening and nodding along.

Meanwhile Ravi has no idea he’s even doing it.

He’s like “Buck taught me to do this when using the saws and jaws”

“Buck said that if you put the ladder like this it’s more efficient”

And it’s everything Buck taught scared into him as a probie.

And Eddie just smiles and says “yep he did say that good job”

And Ravi goes back to work with Buck and is like “wow Eddie is the best. He lets me take the lead, unlike you (and rolls his eyes at Buck) and he doesn’t talk my ear off about you, he’s so fun to work with”

Then when Eddie goes home and they’re having a beer on the couch he just says “you taught Ravi well. It was like working with you again”. And Buck just melts.

I love the focus on Buck and Ravi friendship because it shows that Buck CAN have a normal male friendship, Buck and Eddie are just weird like that.

They turn to Eddie and he is like well it depends and pulls out a whole PowerPoint presentation about how the lighting and environment affects it, how the sun will bleach it to look lighter and on and on and on as the rest of the cast just stare at him.

And then in the back Ravi just goes “I thought he was a redhead!”
