going into fma relatively unaware (had previously only read maybe the first 6-ish volumes) is...kind of a sucker-punch. some things have aged very poorly. and some things are horrifically far too pertinent.
i just finished volume 15 and i gotta just. sit with that for a while. i can't even begin to imagine how that was received when the manga was first being published or the various anime adaptations being made.

Yk when my doctor described atrophy to me he just made it seem like it was gonna hurt when I pee and have sex which I don’t have.
Little did I know it’s actually the worst period pain just all of the time and spotting and uti symptoms.
