Hi everyone!
I'm not one to normally do this, but we need your help. As you may not know, I work at a non-profit organization in which we use therapy horses to improve the health, increase the confidence, and promote the independence of persons with mental and physically disabilities, as well as help veterans transition in and out of deployment.
This past winter was hard and our sweetest, most favored girl (shown below) Cleo had a very rough time. With all the ups and downs of the weather and the schedule changes due to covid, she became very sick. She was diagnosed with grade 3 stomach ulcers, spent 2 weeks at the vets, and we were contemplating surgery options if she didn't get better...She is thankfully back home now, but she is not completely out of the woods yet.
As you can imagined, this caused quite the vet bill. With funds already low from lack of fundraising opportunities due to the pandemic, we could really use all the help we can get to cover her bill.
