🎄DECEMBER READALONG🎅 . A children's story filled with both heartbreak and humour that will grab the adult's attention and hearts as they read it alongside their younger ones? Yes please and thank you! There are some books that you read and all you want is to be able to someday watch it on screen and this was definitely one of them. I can barely wait to meet these characters all over again, principally the bad, mad, hilarious ones such as the elves and the Truth Pixie because SHE ROCKS! But also to delight in Nicolas kindness and the way he chooses to belive in a better world despite his circumstances and how he becomes Father Christmas. This was one of the darkest, most uplifting and comforting stories I have ever read and I loved it. Thank you so much to @canongatebooks for the invitation and the book.
