A few months back I opened up to one of Professors about my struggle with Depression, and she outright dismissed it by calling me so young and not having encountered enough traumatic incidents in my life, yet.
It makes me angry how people dismiss other people's trauma, because they feel someone is too young to be depressed.
There's no such thing as too young to be depressed, if there's some criteria for 'What kind of people could have depression?', it would be 'anyone who possesses a Brain'.

Please remember to be kind and understanding to all, you don't know what someone is facing beneath the surface. 💖
I have never asked or demanded an apology from anyone. I have told people before they should say sorry to someone else, but not for myself. One apology did not come until 15 years later, when that person was ready. And still it was more for their healing than mine. To rid them of guilt. But the harm had already been done. I had already forgiven and moved on, so the apology was something I didn't really need for me to heal.
