Dick's Dilemma

Happy birthday to @faustiandevil ! I made this Max Beckmann-like painting in honor of an au that he's been busy working on and writing this past year, and I am using this painting to make you, yes, you, want to read it! What is it?

It's an AU based on Wacky Races in a Boardwalk Empire-like setting. It's got classic Hannah Barbera characters brought back to the original contexts that inspired their cartoons - WW1-era dogfights, the Prohibition, Gangster Flicks from the 1930s and 40s, classic Hollywood actors like Edward G Robinson and Peter Lorre (with some British actors from Britain's own Golden Age of Cinema - Terry Thomas and Thorley Walters!), and the dark humour of the 1930s! This AU paints a darkly funny picture of these characters living in the actual real worlds of their time - Weimar-era Germany and the Roaring 20s while they try their best to get by (and survive!!).

Featured in the painting are the main characters of the story - from left to right, back to front: Sylvester Sneekly (the Nucky Thompson of the story, a corrupt lawyer who is Penelope Pitstop's legal guardian and is involved in bootlegging and a lot more...), Lil' Gruesome (an agressive Hungarian gangster with a sadistic streak), Dick Dastardly (our tragic hero), the Red Max (a Thorley Walters type character with anger issues), and finally Penelope Pitstop (sufragette, racing freak, Southern Belle, and more!) with her pet alligator, Wally.

So i’m writing a fanfic and im a little worried cause it also has my oc in it who is dating Rodimus and who ive made Red Alerts big brother as well BUT it’s mainly revolved around Fort Max x Red Alert

Sooo would anyone want to read a fic that follows this path?: Red Alert accidentally fell into a Coma and Fort Max, Rodimus and Snowdrift all have to go inside his brain some how to wake him up (star trek logic‼️)

And they find out its like a whole fantasy world in Red’s Brain but the deeper they go to find him the more confusing/scary it becomes due to his paranoia.

But its silly/horror mainly cause Fort Max is Red Alerts Knight and Shining Armor (i think that’s obvious) Snowdrift Is a Wizard (because sometimes snow can “magically” take the fear away), and Rodimus is a Jester (because he can make Red/Anyone Laugh basically)

Okay soooo

remember that time when in the first season of Sam & Max games when Hugh Bliss took all the “sinful” parts of Max and made them into separate entities?

well, I thought “well Hey, Max can be a pretty sexual being, what if he got that part made into a separate thing?”

so that lead me to Lustful Ear Max (look I’m not drawing a penis so you get an ear)
