Day 2 of Poetry till I get some Exposure
The Red Thread Conundrum
In the tapestry of love, a red thread weaves,
a whispered promise, a tale one believes.
It binds two souls , in fate’s gentle embrace,
a dance of destiny in a timeless space.
The allure of the thread, so vivid and bright,
suggests our paths are drawn by the light.
Two hearts destined to meet, though worlds may divide,
an invisible bond that fate cannot hide.
Yet as we wander through love’s winding ways,
we find that this notion can lead us astray.
For in seeking the perfect we often forget,
that love is a journey not just a duet.
In the shadow of soulmates complacency grows,
A belief that affection should always compose
an effortless symphony, a flawless refrain,
but love in its beauty is woven with pain.
When the storm brews in silence and tempests collide,
we question the thread as we turn to confide,
Is this not my soulmate? Is love a guise?
We seek a new heart, chasing phantoms of skies.
Yet the connection lies deeper than fate,
in the choices we make and the bonds we create.
For love is garden where the seeds must be sown,
with care, understanding and patience grown.
Friendships and families in their unique grace,
hold stories of love, time cannot erase.
Not all paths are written in the stars above,
yet every embrace can be true love.
So let us embrace the threads, varied and rich,
Celebrate the prefect, the mundane, the niche.
For love is not merely a fated decree,
it is the laughter, the struggle, the shared cup of tea.
In this conundrum of red threads and souls,
we find that the heart is what truly consoles.
Destiny whispers, but we write our own song,
in the tapestry of life, where all hearts belong.
Got the idea from this reel-

I am not ashamed that two of the main characters on my new story are Damian and Cameron.
But Damian isn't Irish. Damn. But he's brunette with stunning blue eyes. d: And Cameron is the person who knows everything about anything-- he's still the same old nerd. <3
MAYBE I SHOULD MAKE DAMIAN'S CHARACTER IRISH SO IF IT EVER GETS PUBLISHED AND MADE INTO A MOVIE I CAN BE LIKE, HEY PRODUCERS DOESN'T DAMIAN MCGINTY SEEM LIKE THE PERFECT IRISH BOY? AND CAMERON MITCHELL IS A NERD, RIGHT? PERFECT.
but i don't know yet.
Here's some information about the large details in case anyone is curious or anything.
Red – lovers/soul mate/relationship.
Black – death/killers/natural/suicide.
Yellow – friendship/best friend.
Green – downfall/envy.
Blue – upbringing/fortune bringing.
----------
A Weaver is one who is able to view threads connecting others.
One string can be retied to another by another Weaver. This is strongly frowned upon—it’s considered evil and a conflicting Weaver may break one’s own threads by inflicting.
Strings cannot be cut by a Weaver, only broken when fates change—very rare.
Left hand – one’s own fate.
Right hand—one’s effect of someone else’s fate(may be lacking up to all strings).
Reason one can be lacking red thread: Though there are many people who divorce and remarry, some are not true soul mates, which is the reason of the ‘lovers’ or ‘relationship’. True soul mates are both connected by the left hand. There are different shades of red as well—the most common one besides pure red is a darker red, such as maroon. Maroon symbolizes unrequited love. Though many stories make it out that unrequited love is/should be meant to be, this is false. One person can willingly give their entire soul to one person, though the receiver of that one soul will turn it down usually unknowingly. There is also a light red, in which symbolizes ‘relationship’—they’re not soul mates, nor are they simply lovers, but to one, the other will be the most significant other in their life—usually this thread leads to marriage and divorce.
Reason one can be lacking black thread: Simple. They don’t kill anyone—purposefully or accidentally(ex. Car crash).
Reason one can be(is usually) lacking yellow thread: Much like soul mates, best friends are linked by the left hand if they are true. However, in rare occurrences, one may be destined to more than one best friend, who they will find later than the connected one on their left hand, and will be connected by the right hand. Though people argue they have more than one best friend—they often confuse close friends with best friends. A best friend is the person who knows you better than yourself, and anyone around you, though the trueness of it may never be fully demonstrated.
Reason one can be lacking green thread: Generally, most people do not have a right handed green string. Those who do are usually greedy, envious, and power-hungry. They will willing cut another down for their own gain, affecting the other deeply.
Reasons one can be lacking blue thread: Though the blue thread(along with green) is the most repudiated among all left handed strings, it is most common upon the right hand. Much like the red thread, blue can vary in shades. Unlike any other thread, it can link one person to more than one person. This is achieved by volunteers, helpers, etc. Those who give others something others are in need of for free are connected to their fortune bringer by their wrist. The shade is a light, sky blue, opposed to the royal blue which is extreme fortune. Because only a handful of people are able to give extreme fortune, a Weaver is most impressed with those people, as the threads branch out frequently.
I still may change quite a few of these details. But this is the rough idea of it.
