@reddragon-cowboy asked: ❛ is there anything i can do for you? ❜ (Niah )
A time-worn traveller finds himself adrift in a dimension he does not recognise. To the naked eye, life revolved on a familiar course: people chattered; birds sang; vehicles flew in the sky. For better or worse, it had all the same gloss, a place worth departing from Nueva York to come and see. A destination he would've liked to have taken the time to explore further, had the opportunity arose to do so. Unfortunately for his luck, an attention-grabbing squawk spewed at random from a device on his wrist, demanding his attention. Lifting his fingers to tap on its screen, a series of letters and numbers flashed up before him, glowing a sinister orange shade. After crunching the numbers and examining all available data, it had finally managed to identify this dimension's designation in plain text.
Taking this news on board, Miguel lowered his arm by his side as he stepped out from beneath the shade of a tree, eyes scouring his surroundings. At this time of day, the park he had come to occupied appeared to mostly be bereft of visitors, yet for the few still scattered about, he still made a deliberate effort to give them wide berth, least his hard-light constructed suit earn him more than a few unneeded questions.
Stretching out his legs into lengthy strides as he strode along the path, he managed to cover a remarkable distance, passing by strangers with little to no issues. Such good fortune would soon come to an end, however, when without paying heed to his surroundings, he cruised past an occupied park bench -- only to be immediately called back, like a hooked fish reeled in on a line.
"Were you referring to me?" Pointing at himself, he returned to the bench, taking in the sight of a stranger sitting all by herself. For how long she'd been watching him, it was hard to say. But, with no one else seemingly around, and armed with a whole host of questions he would like to get answers on, Miguel seized the opportunity to converse.
"Because, then, yeah. There might be. Could you tell me where am I, for starters?"
