Searching on the web I noticed that many people think that Ren Honjo isn’t dead. I can’t agree with this opionion. Just look at Nobu and Takumi’s faces when they identify his body: they were both shattered (and Takumi especially isn’t the kind of person who shows openly emotions). Takumi lost the most important member of his band, Nobu lost his personal hero. There can’t be doubts that Ren is really dead. You don’t have this reaction in front of a stranger’s body.
