All jokes aside, though…even though a part of me wants to be petty AF and light these mofos up because I am a smartass by nature and sarcasm is my native tongue lol…I’ve made the executive decision to NOT post that trash on my blog. That’s not why I am here.

No shade to anyone who does post and respond to the troll anons, I promise. To each their own, as it should be!

Freedom of speech is wonderful, is it not? Literally NO ONE will infringe upon my right to speak freely…here or anywhere. And I will not infringe upon yours, whether I agree with you or not. But on my posts, all I ask for is that we keep it fun, respectful, and healthy. Nothing harmful to anyone. Dare I even say, mindful and demure? 😝

Now, with all that being said, have I commented on some of these posts? Have I reblogged these posts because I agreed with another blogger’s response to a troll anon? Of course I have! I’m not “holier than thou,” if you will, and will never claim to be. Sometimes I get fired up and get a tad spicy because, like most of you here, I too am a passionate fan of our 2 lovebirds, and Bridgerton, and so on. I share my thoughts and opinions like everyone else, and I enjoy showing my support for bloggers whose posts align with my beliefs as well. I do not have hard facts like everyone else here because (unfortunately, lol), we do not know them personally, nor do we know their families/friends personally. We are fortunate to get what we do get from them, considering how chaotic this fandom can get at times.

Anyway…it is on MY posts that I choose not to give the trolls any undeserved attention. I cannot bring myself to indulge in that kind of negativity on my posts, because it’s a waste of my time. Do I win something if I do? No? Okay.

As I said in my first post, trolls need not waste their time here. Channel that energy into something more productive. You can enjoy your side of the fandom without shitting on mine. Besides, I’m not budging from where I sit on this lovely ship. 🛳️

Allow me to clarify a couple more things before I sign off—I DO NOT discourage anon messages, and I DO NOT discourage varying opinions. In fact, I look forward to receiving your messages and discussing things with anyone who wishes to do so! But if it is laced with hate, bullying, or any other form of vitriolic fuckery, I WILL NOT share it here.

I’ll leave you all with this, the #1 rule of the Internet:

DON’T FEED THE TROLLS.

I never mean to offend, bring any extra stress or malice intent with any of my post, whether it's my rants or posting someone's art. I will immediately delete the post if asked and will always credit the artist.

I don't draw. I can't. So, I am always mesmerized and just in awe of people that can, especially when they do it so beautifully.

I use this form of social media for my own stress relief, a hobby and for fun.

I love writing and if anyone was to use my writing and call it their own I would be devastated. Not only because they're taking what's mine but also because I wouldn't have the power to stop it if it continued. Only to block that person. But, we all know how well that works.

I'm not on here to start shit or drama and feed into anyone else's bullshit. I'm too old and too tired. I'm not here to babysit your feelings. If you have a problem with me, my stories, the subjects of my stories or the way I write them, then do us both a favor and unfollow me. It's literally that easy. No harm no foul.

With that being said my page is a safe place for people who want to be respectful and need to use an outlet themselves.

Any race, any sex, any preference, any age. None of that matters to me. 🖤🤎💜💙💚💛🧡❤️ I'm an open ear and shoulder if needed.

"Love does not have a solid definition, it can be physical, platonic, inocent, fratern, romantic... Love is not to be described, it is to be felt, don't let anyone, however, tell you you have to do something to prove it. You can and you should love people in your own way, be it sexual or not. Remember Fellow Writers on Tumblr

When writing “People of Color” (I hate that phrase so fucking much) you must do your research - regardless of skin color. A black person in America wouldn’t know how a person from Ethopia lived or acted like without research.

When writing about Middle Eastern cultures remember that Indian, Persian, and Arabic cultures aren’t the same, and that there are subcultures in those broad contexts as well. Also, India is not part of the Middle East and has it’s own culture entirely and should not be mixed with them. (Looking at you, Aladdin.) Arabs are more tan, generally. 

When writing about Asian cultures like Japan, China, Korea, the Philippines, and Southeastern Asia, they all are separate, but share a lot of core values through the dominance of China as a great and regional power in East Asia for thousands of years. But they aren’t similar. Not by a fucking long-shot. (Japan alone has three different languages because of historical and culture context. One is written Chinese characters, but that’s only for writing - Kanji.)

When writing about white culture, expand your fucking brain when it comes to that. There is hundreds upon thousands of different cultures in Europe alone. (Anglo-Saxon and French are just one of the many) Don’t be afraid to look up historical and cultural differences and similarities between them. 

And this is the most important thing: Learn from these cultures. Learn and respect all of them. Not just minorities. Respect different African cultures, Native American culture, (I’m lumping all of them in there, but seriously, the different Native American cultures are fascinating and people should learn more from them) Asian, Middle Eastern, and white culture. 

Humanity is a jumbled mess of interconnections - culture is born and cared for through this interconnections, through these adaptions and educations of other people’s cultures - not only if they are a minority, but also the majority ones as well.
