ok sorry i know duel links is based on the dub and all. kind of obsessed with the respectful + a third dynamic there. like that revolver himself is distant and aloof at worst. honestly pretty polite, doesn't get on the case of whatever poor third (which so far has included both parties of the shima vs the worst hanoi knight) when they (likely) cause him to lose. and yet it's still a horrible experience for that poor third becuase of specter, who is vocally salivating over when he finally gets to kill this guy. let down revolver and the guy himself will be gracoius if aloof about it. specter, on the other hand, will be counting down teh seconds till revolver lets him kill you. how dare you inconvenience master revolver. we have a fiendish virus worked up already for the second he gives the word. please.
my bad comment there is. world's funniest case of "he asked for no pickles" . honestly revolver might be fine having no personal executioner but specter clearly enjoys it so.

Part 3 of Vrains Pokemon Au
Ryouken’s team.
Okay I have two ideas for Ryouken’s team. One is a team made up of knight themed pokemon and one is the obvious Dragon team.
Dragon team
Salamence
He had it as a Bagon when he first met Yusaku when he was 8. His dad gave it to him as a “companion” but also as a way to lure children. He figured kids would be interested in the dragon pokemon and be more willing to go with Ryouken.
Bagon felt awful after Yusaku was taken. The whole time the experiment was occurring he kept trying to find where their friend was being held, being hurt.
Was a big supporter of Ryouken calling the police and freeing the children.
Until it lead to Ryouken suffering. Losing his father.
He’s very protective of Ryouken and the strongest solider when it comes to destroying the Ignis.
Was evolved into Shelgon when they attacked the cybers (still figuring out how that works in this au)
Was fully evolved into a Salamence by the time Playmaker is on the scene
When he finds out Yusaku was Playmaker he was thrilled. Ecstatic that their friend was back. Always excited to battle against him. He thinks the ignis tricked Yusaku into being on their side. Once they explain everything Yusaku will side with them.
Doesn’t understand why Ryouken won’t go talk to their friend rather than being cryptic and fighting him.
Dragapult
Got it as a Dreepy shortly after the incident and his father. He’s a boy who is haunted by his past.
Evolves into Drakloak before they attacked the Cybers
Evolved into a Drgapult before they meet Playmaker.
I think this is a great pokemon for him because it both a ghost so symbolism and because the higher level evolutions shoot out smaller ones like guns.
Kommo-o
Got it as a Jangmo-o while looking for the cybers
Evolved into a Hakamo-o by the time they fight Playmaker for the first time.
Evolved into Kommo-o during their last (season 1) battle with Playmaker.

I feel like if you’re going to do the knight route you need to have Corviknight.
Once again I will flesh all of the following out once I watch season 2
I think he would at least have it to a Corvisquire by the time the face Playmaker the first time.
Type: Null
Got from his father. Maybe after the lost incident started and before Ryouken called the police.
It stays a Type: Null for a long time. Ryouken has a lot to deal with. Null doesn’t fully trust the son of the scientist who caught him. Especially when the boy is working so hard to follow in his father’s footsteps.
It isn’t until Ryouken changes his ways. Starts to grow into his own, that it becomes a Silvally
Gallade
Look at that color scheme. They just fit together.
I just think they fit.
So these are the two teams I have for Ryouken.

Also you will notice that he only has five members on each team
That is because I think it’s really cute for someone to give him and Applin. As it is a way to show that you are in love with someone.
I haven’t decided on my ships yet for Vrains as I have yet to finish it but I also live in Multishipping hell.
You could make this Datastormshipping with Yusaku giving it to Ryouken or Ryouken going out of his way to catch on to give to Yusaku.
You could also do it as Respectfulshipping with Spectra giving one to Ryouken. It fits them really well as most of Spectra’s team will be plants and it will be a cute way to mix their teams.
I also see the Applin line as the softest dragon and Ryouken softens throughout the series.
