I've always wanted to redesign Retro since ironically, nothing about Retro's v.2 design (yes this was a v.2 design) made her scream as something that was "retro"; but Stupendium's song got me grooving so hard I managed to completely remake Retro's design into something satisfactory to me

I feel like this new design now properly communicates Retro's character, has a callback to retro gaming as a whole, and immediately gives a hint as to how she'd end up in a place such as the Digital Circus. :D

2026 is the new 2016 and I've been talking with a close friend of mine and thinking about our old fnaf AU / sort of re-write and decided to finally make a reference sheet, after like 8+ years of just doodling on scraps of paper and roleplaying. Another old piece of art! I think I came up with this character a little over two years ago? This little goober was named Plumeria! She was based on a prompt from a monthly art supply subscription. I got inspiration from old toys from the 80s, specifically Tamagotchis.

She had this whole dramatic story about acting as a caretaker/older sibling to a little boy, and having to go on a magical adventure to save their missing father- but that's a story for another day. Maybe I'll revisit it in the future. 🤔
