Vandeventer coming to Richwoods in Frisco

Richwoods Frisco will be one of the best places to raise your kids and get them an outstanding education.

Announced recently, the thirteenth middle school in the Frisco school district will be named for Billy Vandeventer.  It is set to be done this coming May of 2012 and will be open for attendance in the fall. Vandeventer was the valedictorian of the Frisco High School Class of 1961 and he also taught in the Frisco school district for twenty six years before retiring nine years ago.

Vandeventer is located on Independence on the East border of Richwoods.  There will be an estimated 759 students under the current proposal.

One incredibly interesting concept that the school district and Richwoods are discussing is an entry gate at the rear of the school that will allow Richwoods students to never have to leave the gated community to enter and exit their middle school.

Sounds very convenient if you ask me!

Texas is a massive and growing place for Real Estate

Now this is a very powerful video showing the growth and size of Texas.  I think David is spot on with this video and I applaud him.  If you have anything to do with Real Estate or just like to learn, this video is for you.

Lawler Park and Richwoods in Frisco Update

Richwoods Frisco and Lawler Park are on their way.

In just two weeks both developments have started a couple of roadways and they have buried their utilities. It always amazes me how quickly these developments get going, but quality is never sacrificed with these developers.

Richwoods and Lawler Park are the two most recent development communities to be announced in the Frisco area. These tracts of land were owned by Roger Lawler and has been tied up in litigation for around ten years. It actually recently happened  that John Landon with Landon Development acquired the property from Mr. Lawler in a recent transaction. Price was not disclosed for the acquisition.

The new home builders that will be constructing homes in Richwoods are Landon Homes, Toll Brothers Homes, K Hovnanian Homes and recently announced Newcastle Homes.

Richwoods is over 500 acres and at build-out will have approximately 1,600 homes.  Lots will start at 64 feet and go up to 94 feet wide. They will be Priced from the $300's up to the $750's.
