Shawna had found herself a stable job after living and hiding in the French Quarter for the past year: tour guide! Okay, so it wasn’t the most luxurious job in all the state and she was on her feet for hours and hours on end but it felt nice to be a part of society again. Escorting wide-eyed tourists all around the Big Easy and showing them all the fun spots was the best part of the day, unless it was a question that had a supernatural answer then she poured some glorified BS on it and move right along.
“Now here is one of my favorite places in all of New Orleans, mainly because it’s the place I know the most about, the French Quarter! The most enchanting jewel the Crescent City has to offer. Around every corner there’s something new to explore but whether it’s a date with destiny or a dance with the devil is all up to you. Go ahead to take a look around the shops if you want, we have some powerful charms and spells for you to play with, but be careful, magick always comes at a price.”
Shawna made sure that everyone on the tour had enough time to eat, shop, mingle, and snap enough pictures before they moved on to their next spot. With this group everyone was running smoothly, except for one.
“Um, sir, I don’t mean to sound rude, but am I boring you in anyway? You seem, well, anti-social.”
