Aww - Thank you for asking ;__; These were fun to think about and answer!
For Rory:
12. Secrets. What is a secret that your character has? Are they in line for the throne in a far off land? Was there this one time at band camp…? Are they secretly involved in an assassin’s guild?
He absolutely has secrets, and he will be happy to take them to his grave. His biggest one is probably that he adopted a whole new persona when he ran away from home - a persona that is different enough from his regular personality that when Asra brought him back, he thought Rory came back wrong because he was…..significantly nicer and shyer. But the details of his secrets which he will take to his grave are best left in the past - he doesn’t acknowledge them and neither should anyone else.16. Goofy. Is your character a clown? Do they like to make people laugh?
Rory loves to make people laugh, actually! If he brings a smile to someone’s face, he sees it as a total win! He isn’t necessarily a clown about it, but he appreciates a well placed pun as much as the next fella, and is more than happy to make a joke if someone is down.
17. Language. Is your character multilingual? How many languages do they speak? Do they have an accent? Is it sexy? Is it silly? Do they have a multilingual lisp?
Before his death, Rory was taught the Arcana equivalent of Irish Gaelic (which I fondly refer to as Fantasy Irish). It’s his first language, really, so Fantasy Irish and Common/Vesuvian. His accent, therefore, is also highkey Irish :) Whether it’s sexy or funny or anything is up to who hears it I suppose. After he’s brought back, he loses his Fantasy Irish and his accent, his cadence slipping into standard Vesuvian. But it comes out on certain vowels, especially if he speaks quickly. In standard Modern AUs, he has a light Southern accent. :)
Riley under the readmore :)
For Riley:12. Secrets. What is a secret that your character has? Are they in line for the throne in a far off land? Was there this one time at band camp…? Are they secretly involved in an assassin’s guild? Riley is, honestly, an open book. I can’t think of any secrets he has. He’s a deeply sad man and doesn’t like to show it - that might be his secret. He’s a caregiver, so he tends to put others before himself and tries to show others that he is incredibly happy. He isn’t. Most of the time. He also grew up with the pressure of being the “good child” and so has a very specific set of moods and actions that he is comfortable showing…and plenty that he is not. He doesn’t allow himself to fail or show weakness, though he is a rock for anyone else who may need to express their own feelings.
16. Goofy. Is your character a clown? Do they like to make people laugh?
Riley is absolutely a clown! One of his joys in life is brightening up a room with his sense of humor, and it makes him absolutely magnetic. He hardly has to try, honestly. He is a natural comic, sometimes it’s on purpose, sometimes it isn’t. If he does something embarrassing that makes people laugh, he’s very good at playing it off as intentional or just rolling with it.
17. Language. Is your character multilingual? How many languages do they speak? Do they have an accent? Is it sexy? Is it silly? Do they have a multilingual lisp?
Riley, same as Rory, was raised with Fantasy Irish as his first language and then learned Common/Vesuvian. However, his accent is easier to understand as he rarely gets….riled up, hah. He also loses the language upon his death, but his accent falls into a weird area of Irish but slightly to the left :)
13. Overcompensation. Is there something that your character just HAS to do better than anyone else? Or are they just that dang good without trying? If they see someone else showing off, what is their kneejerk reaction?
….Everything. It’s a defense mechanism, but he has to be the best. He is so rarely the best, so he tries very hard. But, when he was in school, it was especially in terms of his training in magic. He ensured he was well wanted and well loved before he graduated and left - not truly ambitious, but satisfied with knowing he was The Best at his studies. When he isn’t the best, or he sees someone showing off on something he thinks is a weakness of his, his immediate reaction is insecurity and anger. He may try to show them up.
After he’s brought back to life, this is lowered, but he still feels a drive to be The Best in what he does, feeling a deep insecurity when he is not put first.
20. Family. Talk about your character’s family. Who were they?
Oh boy. Rory’s family. We don’t have time to unpack all of that. But we’re going to anyway.
In his canon, Rory’s mother’s name is Siobhan Tanner nee O’Marcaigh and she was….neglectful at best and abusive at worst, treating Rory like dirt. She very much favored Riley, though Rory never found out the reasons why. And there are reasons. Mostly, she blames Rory for her loss of magic as his birth drew the magic from her. She resents him. She resents her life. She’s just not a very good person.
Rory’s father’s name is Stefan Tanner. He was a leathersmith who traveled in his 20s and then settled into their farm when Rory was born. While a mild-mannered and kind man, he is unfortunately spineless, which led to a lot of negligence as far as how his eldest son was treated. He did come in clutch in helping Rory run away from home when needed.
Rory’s Brother is Riley. He’s younger by two years, extremely big, and extremely well liked. Rory envies him, but loves his brother so much and he can’t be too angry at him just because he’s well liked. If Rory is the MC, Riley dies when Rory is 16. His death is the catalyst of Rory running away from home and pursuing his magical studies.
Rory’s Aunt’s name is Saoirse O’Marcaigh. She’s a huge lesbian and extremely vivacious and kind. If Rory were closest to any of his family members, it would be her. She’s Siobhan’s younger sister and owns the shop that becomes Rory’s later on :] While estranged from her family for most of her adult life, when Rory comes to her to help after he’s completed his magical training, she takes him in with open arms and helps him become more emotionally stable. Her death from the plague is what leads Rory to become obsessed with finding a cure, to the point of his own needs being neglected.
Now….we have our joint canon, Lauren, where your dear apprentice Laurel is full siblings with Rory ^_^ Their parents are Stefan Tanner and Marianna Lobban, who met and fell in love instantly, appealing to each other’s best traits, encouraging each other’s adventurousness. In a stark contrast, Marianna and Stefan are extremely loving parents and support Rory’s magical talents and help him train. He is the elder sibling of Laurel, whom he loves very much. He can’t imagine living in a world without his baby sister, eager to help her use her magic in whatever way possible. He still has Riley as their younger brother as well, and a new addition in their youngest brother, Lyndon, who is quieter than his elder siblings. This generally applies to AUs they exist in, adopting a sibling-like dynamic in which they are so close that they finish each other’s sentences, and are rarely seen without one another. They do have a fun rivalry, but it’s always in jest. In the end, they’re a package deal - There’s no Rory without Laurel.
For Riley:
5. Hidden talents. Is there something neat that your character can do? Tie a cherry stem into a knot with their tongue? Say any word backwards perfectly? He can lift. A lot. LIke a lot a lot. Like he’s stupid strong. You ask him to pick stuff up, he’s gonna do it. He’ll lift a whole log, he doesn’t give a fuck. He is also quite adept at music, including singing and playing the lute, though he’d be happy to try any other instrument. He speaks very good fantasy pig latin, but he doesn’t use it except when writing “in code”.
1. What does your character feel when they see their LI for the first time each day?
Safety. Love. Joy? I don’t know if there are words to properly describe it. I can feel my heartbeat in my throat, even though I see him every day. Usually, Julian is up before me and already fixing coffee by the time I get up, so I just...watch him for a while from the comfort of our bed. Listen to him hum his off tune sea shanties. Probably spill coffee on the table. Eventually I’ll get up to surprise him with a kiss or two - a hug and snuggle. And then I’ll just savor the swarm of butterflies in my chest when he rumbles, “Good morning, darling.” into my hair. Uhm….that kind of got away from me….I guess I could sum it up as….I look at him and I feel...home.
Bonus: @vesuviannights
(For MC/MC: Rory feels very similarly when he sees Elias. Instead of butterflies, however, it’s a bright flame, feeling like it will make him burn from the inside out. He likes to wake Elias up with soft kisses - his neck, his chest, higher and lower - ease him out of sleep for cuddles, even if Elias is pouty about being woken up. It makes Rory giggle, honestly, and he never tires of it. In joint canon, he still has that flame, even if they aren’t living together and especially if there are days or weeks between their meetings. It’s a very specific kind of happiness reserved for someone deeply important to you, someone you connect to in ways that transcend time and space. But he’ll just call it “love.”)
10. How often do they need to be intimate?
Uh….wow, that’s kind of a personal question, isn’t it? Hah - well, at first, it wasn’t very often at all. I was….incredibly nervous before anything intimate happened and so I put it off until I didn’t feel quite as nervous. But y’know….once it happened....let’s just say it happens a lot. I have been called “insatiable” before, haha!
….Oh, you meant emotionally? Oh my god. Well, okay, that’s embarrassing. I’m not especially comfortable with emotional intimacy, but I’m getting there. We’re learning that communicating our feelings is important and so try to be as open and honest as possible.
(Note: this applies to both canon and MC/MC LIs. Rory is a very nervous person and not confident in his sexual prowess, and is also bad at feelings. RIP anyone who loves him.)
Riley under the cut
1. What does your character feel when they see their LI for the first time each day?
Hell, if I wasn’t already up to watch the sunrise, I’d think Portia was it. Brings light to my day, and she’s always the first person I see when I wake up. We wake up around the same time because we’re both just used to it, but damn….damn, I wake up and see her sleepy lil smile and can’t help but kiss her face all over. I just love her. I love her so damn much. And I tell her just that between every kiss, yes I do.
Bonus: @superlemonsweet
(For MC/MC: He feels the same for Salia - likes to curl around her and tell her just how beautiful she looks in the morning and sometimes brings her breakfast in bed if she’s up for it - anyone who romances Riley wants for nothing because he will get it or do it, no matter what)
10. How often do they need to be intimate?
Oh….Oh my go--oh. Not that often. Really, no, it’s fine. I, uhm. Wow, hahaha! No, like, I mean, I won’t say no, but it isn’t the most important...It...I’m really not comfortable answering this, oh my god.
(Note: Often enough - Riley just has weird sexual hangups and gets very nervous when talking about it. This applies all around - he’s easily flustered. He hopes Salia and Portia think it’s cute. It’s a mess with Muriel bc god how does anything fucking get done?)
7. Interaction. How does your character typically interact with people?
Before his death, Rory was more walled off and brusque. He was very impulsive and self serving, with rare acts of kindness or generosity. It was a mask to deflect against rejection and his own personal self esteem issues. But it didn’t make him many friends, and he knew it.
After he is brought back, he is significantly kinder, though his emotions of anger and frustration translated into anxiety. So he is a bit more neurotic and shy, though just as impulsive. He gradually gains his confidence back and is able to speak to people and make friends easily. For Riley
13. Overcompensation. Is there something that your character just HAS to do better than anyone else? Or are they just that dang good without trying? If they see someone else showing off, what is their kneejerk reaction?
Riley is just incredibly strong. He is laid back enough that he really doesn’t care if someone is better than him at something. Though, if he sees someone trying to one up him...he might just have to challenge them. He’d prefer not to make anyone feel bad about their own inferiority, though. And he’d never make anyone feel bad about it, of course.
2. Love Interest. Who does your character love? What attracted them to that particular LI?
Julian. Honestly….shoulders. He was intimidated, but in a sexy way. It progressed into an emotional attraction as they interacted, especially as they connected on a mutual anxiety level. Rory liked to feel like he was being useful and adventurous, and liked that he could also express his own discomfort and know he could be supported. In the end - he knew he loved Julian because his smile made his heart ache.
As far as Apprentice/Apprentice, Rory has also had his sights on @vesuviannights Elias Haventhorne. The first thing Rory noticed about him was his kindness - pure and unadulterated. The first person to care about him and treat him well, unconditionally. Regardless of the universe, they’re bound to one another, while not always romantic...it usually is :] I like to think even in universes where they haven’t met, Rory looks up at the stars and feels a tug in his chest, in the small hole in his heart where his own Star resides.
3. Familiar. Does your character have a familiar? How did they meet?
He does! Or did, rather. Rory was given a foal as a child, which he named Capall. While he never quite understood what a familiar was, their emotional and magical connection was established early on, and Capall was wise beyond his years. Upon Rory’s death, Capall went mad. A second contender, though not actually a familiar, was a puppy given to Rory by his Aunt Saoirse when he was 18 years old. He was a Border Collie bestowed the name Patches for the pattern on his fur, and while they never established a magical connection, Rory depended on Patches’ intelligence and kindness while he was studying in Prakra, and up until his death.
10. WTF. Has anything just…weird ever happened to your character? Something that made them stop and go “What just happened?!”
…..Does the countess hiring you to investigate the murder of her husband and then falling in love with said murderer and then finding out you died and then getting your body stolen by the not so dead ghost of said husband and then fighting the devil count? Because that was pretty fucking weird! (Other fun answers available upon request ^_^)
For Riley
2. Love Interest. Who does your character love? What attracted them to that particular LI?
Portia. He was instantly drawn to her personality and tenacity. He loves how sweet she is, but how playful and adventurous. He needs a bit of fun to even him out. And he isn’t used to people carrying him (He’s 6’2” and built like a brick shithouse). Riley would be proud to be her knight in shining armor, to swear fealty to her and protect her from those who may do her harm, though she really doesn’t need to be protected. Also...he loves to hold her, and kiss her face.
As far as Apprentice/Apprentice, Riley has romanced Salia, which you know, baby, seeing as she’s yours :P Salia belongs to @superlemonsweet for those who do not know, and the first thing that drew him in were her eyes. He felt like he was drowning the instant he looked into them. She makes Riley feel like he himself is a puddle, knees weak and arms weaker. Considering he lifts all the time, that’s saying something. Also, what can he say? He’s drawn to driven, powerful, snarky women? He would die for her, live for her, will wine and dine her until the sun comes up over the horizon and catches in her hair.
3. Familiar. Does your character have a familiar? How did they meet?
He doesn’t, unfortunately. He doesn’t have the same magical aura that his brother does, and so never develops that connection with any familiar.
10. WTF. Has anything just…weird ever happened to your character? Something that made them stop and go “What just happened?!”
Honestly, Riley is not magically inclined, so anytime some weird magic stuff happens, he’s constantly in a state of “Oh my god, that just happened!” He’s always surprised by his own abilities and usually ends up putting too much force into it.
14. Fight Club. Is your character a good fighter? What kind of skills do they have?
Not particularly! In some AUs, he is. He kicks when he gets nervous, but in AUs, he’s been a boxer and a swordfighter. But in canon, he just kicks and punches as reactions. His fight or flight response is just freeze.
For Riley
15. The Arts. Is your character a creative type? What kinds of things can they create? Can they act? Street perform?
He is! He likes to write songs and plays the lute! He can’t act to save his life, but put an instrument in his hands and he’s in heaven uwu He also makes wonderful stick figures. Remind him to show you sometime :]
The perfect date? April 25th, because it’s not too hot and not too cold - all you need is a light jacket :)
Hah, I’m just kiddin’. I’m a classic romance kinda guy. A nice dinner, some talking, then maybe a walk down to the beach under the moonlight. I wouldn’t mind us having some extra fun, though - maybe going into the forest to search for mushrooms in the dead of night or riding horseback or making sculptures of each other out of clay. As long as we end up at home, curled up together, I’m fine with everything beforehand. My perfect date is always going to be perfect if I love who I’m with!
Rory under the cut
13. Do they have an evening routine?
It depends on how long we were out! Though the standard evening is...we’ll go over our days together over dinner - how was business with the shop, darling? Oh, wonderful, my love, and how were your patients today? - then we’ll wash up for the evening, and whether or not that leads into something *else* is always a fun surprise. And then we’ll try to relax our minds, which for us is incredibly difficult to do. Sometimes we can’t and we end up awake for hours talking about the plans for the aqueducts or a new book on magical theory I found. And sometimes that’s for the better, as we always end the day with a book - doesn’t matter what it is, we just want to make sure we get our reading in. We’ll read it together until we’re so exhausted from doing the silly voices that we fall asleep practically on top of one another. Assuming no other activities have taken place - but, hey, you asked for the “routine.”
Bonus: @vesuviannights
(For MC/MC: Rory and Elias have a different kind of routine. Most of it is the same, but at some point, before they retire for bed, they’ll watch the sunset and point out the first stars as they glimmer into view. Rory is….afraid of the stars - they feel too big for someone as small as he is, but he still wants to see them, because looking at them with Elias makes him feel not quite as small. Plus Elias likes them, so they can’t be that bad. They’ll stargaze and talk over their day or what the stars mean until Rory can’t keep his eyes open, and that’s when they’ll retire, either for rest or other activities)
I wanted to post the remaining asks for my boys, so here you go!
Questions already answered are linked. Also RIP to mobile users. I’m so sorry.
For Rory:
1. The Basics. What is your character’s name? How old are they? How tall are they? Skin color? Eye color? Hair color? Gender identification?
Riordan “Rory” Enda Tanner is 26 years old at the start of the game. He was born April 11 (Aries), and is trans (he/him only, please). He does identify as gay, though he has been known to have some wiggle room - rare as said wiggle room is. He stands at a towering 5’2” (though he wears heeled boots 99% of the time so really everyone sees him at….5’5”), is incredibly pale and rosy and freckled, has green eyes, and brown hair that’s usually pulled back into a ponytail or braid. Sometimes he leaves it down, though, and it is close to waist length. He likes to wear silver earrings (cuffed up to his cartilage), and his colors are Navy, Cream, and Silver. He made his own binder by developing a modified stay, though his build is slight enough that he doesn’t require it all the time. His general outfit is a white undershirt, with the sleeves rolled up, his modified stay, a navy vest/jerkin, and brown trousers and boots. Fairly simple and standard. Doesn’t garner much attention. He also cannot see very well and has circular spectacles. However, due to his clumsiness, Rory keeps them on a chain in case they fall from his face. Which they do. Frequently. (Further outfit info can be provided on request for pre-death/masquerade/etc purposes if interested!)

4. Hobbies. What kinds of things does your character like to do for fun?
He likes to sew. One of his passions is designing and sewing together outfits or finding fun ways to design practical clothing items. He makes all of his own clothing and post-game experiments with many different kinds and colors of fabrics. He also enjoys writing - mostly journal entries as he doesn’t want to forget any other aspect of his life from now on. Also enjoys horseback riding and general tomfoolery!
5. Hidden talents. Is there something neat that your character can do? Tie a cherry stem into a knot with their tongue? Say any word backwards perfectly?
SFW - He’s a very good dancer, though usually just when others aren’t looking. He is also a fan of sleight of hand tricks, using magic or just by being slippery.
…..he has some NSFW ones, but those are available upon request ^_^
6. Magical talents. Is there a specific type of magic that your character excels at? Any magic they aren’t so great at? Or do they actually shy away from magic altogether?
Rory has some natural talent and some learned. Naturally, he is adept with fire based magic, and prophetic divination, most of which is involuntary. He is also prone to emotional outbursts that result in items being broken/people being hurt. Learned, he excelled at alchemy, illusion, and magical theory. He likes the balance and physicality of alchemy, versus the creativity and freedom of illusion, and how they play into one another. Most of his learned magic was lost, but Asra retaught him a bit of it :)
7. Interaction. How does your character typically interact with people?

8. Romance. What is something that your character and their LI love to do together? How do they show affection?
With Julian, they like to go on adventures. The more places they can go, the better. They are also both very good at surprising each other with events, gifts, vacations. Sometimes, just the simple things like making breakfast in the morning, or a comforting hug after a bad day. Rory primarily shows his affection with words and actions - he is very much a fan of telling people that he loves them and why, and wants to hug and touch as much as he can. He requires the same, though usually the words are the important part, especially as his insecurities show up. He just needs reassurance that he is loved, and he is glad to provide the same as is needed.
9. Travel. Does your character like to travel outside of Vesuvia? How often? For how long? What kinds of things do they do away from home?
Now he does. He was raised on a farm in a small village about a week’s travel southwest of Vesuvia. He ran away from home at 18, stayed briefly with his aunt in Vesuvia, went to school in Prakra for magic, then returned to Vesuvia to help his aunt with her shop. Up until his death, however, he stayed within the general city limits. Once he is brought back, he stays at home up through end-game. At that point, he and Julian travel all over the world, for months at a time, especially once they get Julian his own ship. They regularly travel to Nevivon and galavant across Prakra, but always return home to Vesuvia. Every trip means a new place that Rory hasn’t seen, and if Julian hasn’t been there, either, all the better!

He can sketch! Not well, and not people, but he likes to sketch out landscapes and plants. Professional Doodler ;) He also does stage magic and sleight of hand for fun, and has been known to do some work down at the community theater. He can sing, but he’s a better dancer, preferring to let his body do the talking for him. Wishes he could play an instrument, but for everyone’s sake...best not to let him near one!

18. Embarrassment. What is something really embarrassing that your character has done/said?
Honestly, when he first went to Prakra, he was a bit of a bumpkin. So just his overall reactions to being in a metropolis, plus his shy demeanor, led him to act in some embarrassing ways around people he wanted to befriend. In game, Rory is notoriously clumsy, not quite used to his limbs, like a young colt. He laughs off his embarrassment, now, at least!
19. Memory. Has your character gotten any of their memory back? If so, what? Did it change them?
Not properly. When he became strong enough, Asra gave Rory back his old journal, which documented Rory’s life from the ages of 16 to 22, when he died. Rory can’t read it for too long or, yes, the headaches start. So instead of getting his memories back, he just sort of re-reads what his life was from the point of view of someone that he...quite simply doesn’t relate to anymore. But it’s good for him to know, he thinks. To see what he was like, and to avoid making similar mistakes. It does inspire him to make his own journal, and to keep track of his days so he never loses another moment again.

For Riley
1. The Basics. What is your character’s name? How old are they? How tall are they? Skin color? Eye color? Hair color? Gender identification?
Riley Aeron Tanner is 24 years old at the start of the game. He’s a Virgo, born September 17th, and is cis, using he/him pronouns. Highkey a bisexual disaster who doesn’t quite know what to do with all the feelings he has, and also pretty oblivious to people liking him! He’s 6’2” and built like a brick shithouse, warm skin-toned, easy to tan, but still very clearly pale. He has brown eyes and dark brown hair, which he tries to keep short, but he’s not very good at cutting it, so it sometimes hits near chin length. He can be found wearing very practical clothing that makes it easy to move as he does a lot of stocking/lifting/errand running for the shop, as well as odd jobs around town. Also very earthy in his tones - lots of greens and browns and oranges! He’s also not incredibly hairy, but he does have a fair amount of body hair - including a full beard, which he tries to keep neatly trimmed. Unlike his brother, he can see without glasses, so any accessories would be practical - a bag, tools, and the like.

4. Hobbies. What kinds of things does your character like to do for fun?
He likes to play the lute, go for walks outside the city, and people watch. He’s definitely a people person and his favorite is going into the marketplace and just complimenting people on their wares, or drawing the animals he sees running around. And just being an all around good guy...Those are hobbies, right?
5. Hidden talents. Is there something neat that your character can do? Tie a cherry stem into a knot with their tongue? Say any word backwards perfectly?
Answered here
6. Magical talents. Is there a specific type of magic that your character excels at? Any magic they aren’t so great at? Or do they actually shy away from magic altogether?
Honestly, Riley isn’t good at magic at all. He’s never shown an affinity for it, and it’s never been that big a deal to him. In his canon, Rory dies when Riley is 15, and so he pursues magic as a way to honor him, even if it’s hard. He gains an affinity for Green Magic and enjoys tarot, but he still isn’t particularly good at either of them. After he is brought back, of course, this changes, and his magical powers develop very quickly.
7. Interaction. How does your character typically interact with people?
He. Loves. People. He’s like a big puppy - loud and excited, kind and helpful, constantly the life of the party. He tries to help people in need whenever he can, and if he ends a conversation with the other person grinning, then he has succeeded! Generally well liked, but not smug or rude about it. He’s just a good dude!
8. Romance. What is something that your character and their LI love to do together? How do they show affection?
With Portia, they like to go on adventures together either in real life, or in their books. He likes it when she reads to him, and he likes to read to her. He likes to surprise her with events and little shows of physical affection - neck kisses, spinning her around, humming into her ear, massages after a long day. He likes to doodle her - though he is so upset that he can’t catch her likeness in his stick figures, not properly. Riley also serenades her - out in public or in the privacy of their home - doesn’t matter!
9. Travel. Does your character like to travel outside of Vesuvia? How often? For how long? What kinds of things do they do away from home?
He doesn’t travel very often. He’s stayed in Vesuvia since he moved there at 15, so I guess you could say he’s a bit of a homebody. He will travel occasionally, especially if Portia wants to, and is open to adventure, but it doesn’t occur to him to leave unless someone else suggests it.

11. Crime. Has your character ever been arrested? If so, what did they do? Have they ever helped stop a crime?
Riley is generally pretty lawful good, though in both Rory and Riley’s canons, he does take up with a small militia to fight some of Lucio’s men. I suppose that was a crime, though I would argue the validity of that claim. He’s stopped a robbery or two in the past, but he generally tries to stay out of trouble.

18. Embarrassment. What is something really embarrassing that your character has done/said?
Asra tried to tell Riley he loved him once before Riley’s death, and Riley just said, “Oh, wow, buddy! I love you too!” because he didn’t realize what Asra meant. Once he did realize, it was deeply embarrassing for both of them and Riley felt really bad about it.
19. Memory. Has your character gotten any of their memory back? If so, what? Did it change them?
He hasn’t. But maybe it’s better to forget, y’know? He can move forward instead of looking back on what he lost.
20. Family. Talk about your character’s family. Who were they?
See Rory’s answer for most of this. The only difference is the dynamic. Riley was raised as the “perfect” child in contrast to the abuse Rory faced, and so developed a weird complex around being “perfect”. He was spoiled, though did not want to be, and was uncomfortable with it. He also looked up to his older brother like he was made of everything good in this world - Riley wanted so much to be like Rory.
