"I've never told anyone, but... I've always thought they were lighthouses. Billions of lighthouses, stuck at the far end of the sky."
So, this is a bit of a comemoration of two things, that are actually related. It's been a bit over 10 years since I first saw someone playing To the moon, I don't remember when exactly, but it was around the end of 2015. And, a few weeks ago, I got my official autism diagnosis!
It's a really special game to me. The story is amazing, not to mention the soundtrack and the sequels. It was also the first piece of media that I had heard about autism, it got me curious about it, and I've really saw myself in her shoes. Not a 1 to 1, but very close. Pretty good for a first impression of autism representation, I'd say. Of course not all of it has aged the best, but it's still pretty solid.
But yeah, throughout the next 10 years, I'd look into it, and eventually, I finally got an accessment done and got my diagnosis!
All because of River, and this franchise.
