Ever since she came back to Town she has been agonising about how she should approach Riz and where and when would be the best time for her to do so. The smart move would’ve been to text him first, but from the dozens of texts she pre wrote on her notes app, none felt right. Although even though she’d argue that it felt like a cop out, it wasn’t the full reason. Sarai needed to see his reaction to seeing her again. Did he hate her? Would he be happy? Angry? Upset? Texts couldn’t convey emotions as one’s eyes could. So here she was, entering Sweet Escapes. There’s no going back now. Going to his place seemed too much and she didn’t know if Seth would be there and if Riz would allow her to see him. Did her son even know who she was? There were a lot of things they needed to talk about and while those conversations were better held in private, he couldn’t throw the door in her face in public. Hopefully.
