The Moment of Truth
To say Danny was nervous would be a severe understatement. He was so beyond nervous. He looked down at his hands as he tried to button up his shirt and noticed how badly they were shaking. Okay, you need to calm down. It's not a big deal, right? Just two friend-- He couldn't even finish that bullshit thought. It was a huge deal. He was about to be on his way to see the boy he'd had a crush on for years.
He finished getting ready, spending longer in front of the mirror than he really needed to, just to make sure that everything was perfect, then he headed out. Walking the short distance to Roan's house and stopping right in front of it. Do it, Danny. Just knock on the door. He took a deep breath and knocked, his heart hammering in his chest.
