Yo dude, quit this shit
You and I. One hundred percent, forever. In every universe.
ok detective mode on:
Sander didn't want to go to the cops AND was sitting on the stairs AND was checking if someone was hearing AND there is someone talking to the background
Two possibilities: either he's still with Britt and she's with him or he lives with his family and he hasn't come out to them yet
Sherlock Holmes is out.
*robbe and sander go to different schools and they are at school right now
fandom: why are we not seeing sander??
So I just thought of something that can sound logic for you guys but that I just realised.
I think we were a bit silly to think that Robbe would say “My mum is crazy. I don’t need crazy people in my life.”
Because Robbe is the only Isak who is not mad at his mum. He’s sad for her and wanted her to stay with him, not her to go to the clinic. He never said anything bad about her.
Of course the other Isaks love their mums, but they had such a difficult relationship with them (and that’s understable). They didn’t want to see their dads AND their mums.
But Robbe still visits his mom at the hospital. He wants her in his life.
So he could never say something like “I don’t want crazy people in my life”.
So that’s why it didn’t happen. And we’re gonna have a really good explanation of why Sander acted like that.
To be honest, the thing I really like about the remakes (and I’m really thankful for it), it’s the fact that we are able to see different points of view, different stories, different struggles.
So I really appreciate when the remakes kind of try to find their own path, even if it’s different from the original.
I think that what Druck did, showing us a transgender character, was SO important, seen the lack of representation of this part of the LGBTQ community in most movies/tv-shows, especially if targeted for young people.
It seems that Wtfock decided to focus on homophobia.
First of all internalized homophobia: Robbe really struggled (and still is) to accept himself, its a long and tortuous path, but I think it’s great they made us see this ‘cause in the other remakes, for the other “Isaks”, it didn’t seem to be much of a problem, if not at the very beginning.
Homophobia is still unluckily a HUGE and DAILY problem. Things like what happened to Robbe and Sander happen EVERY DAY, all over the world. I’m so thankful they decided to talk about this and I really hope they will deepen the matter, cause in the other remakes it’s been shown but only superficially and it was always only verbal abuse.
Congrats to whoever made the Robbe & Sander 7 Things fanvideo. It’s perfect. I’ve watched it at least 50 times.
