Stucky Week Day 5: alternative universe (@stucky-week)

Modern Married AU: I Never Bloomed 'till I Met You (Bloom!Verse)

This is a very long, ongoing dom/sub fic series (explicit) that I've been working on since January. I'm beyond excited to post more, but for stucky week, I decided to make a moodboard showcasing Steve/Bucky's life throughout the years. Six years is a lot, which is why I've included a synopsis down below :)

Year 1: Steve had arrived at Natasha's bookstore at closing time in search of a tube of paint for his art-hobby commission, and Bucky couldn't tear his eyes away from the splotch of blue paint on Steve's neck. They finally met up for coffee when Steve asked the gorgeous employee out after frequenting the store nearly every day, and soon, they made their relationship publicly official six months later.

Year 2: Growth, patience, and communication are what brought Steve and Bucky closer together. Love came first, but neither of them could look past the kinkier side of themselves. They based their relationship, and lifestyle, on love and respect, combined with fulfilling each other's desires like domestic servicing. Steve was Bucky’s first and only dom, which made their exploration more special.

Year 3: Two years later, Steve proposes to Bucky. Of course, Bucky's answer couldn't have been more than an absolute yes, because there's no one else he'd rather spend the rest of his life with. On April 17th, at three o'clock in the afternoon, Steve and Bucky have their first kiss as husbands.

Year 4: Steve's penthouse apartment shortly became a little too cramped once they settled back into their normal lives. They researched houses until they found a restored, nineteenth-century Brownstone, then slowly furnished the house to their liking.

Year 5: By now, their married life has become quite domestic, but two years before they planned the wedding, they discussed what they wanted out of their relationship after marriage. A twenty-four-seven lifestyle fit their dynamic (non-punishment and non-degrading, Bucky is a very good, obedient boy), and it was a long time coming because something pulled them closer once the formality of boyfriends began to fade.

Year 6: The latest household StarkTech product requires Steve to take a one-week business trip across the country, but Bucky, unfortunately, can't tag along this time around. Bucky tells himself he'll be alright, but his attempt fails when the loneliness starts eating away at him. Writing gets him through each day, as he has an upcoming deadline, and soon, Steve will return home to his Kitten kneeling beside the dining table, as instructed. [Currently posting: Rose Blue]

So that's it! Well, there's a lot more but spoiling everything wouldn't be very fun :) (okay hint: there's a non-romantic rare pair in year seven)

I really wanted to make more stuff for each prompt/day, but gifmaking has become a lesser interest for me ever since I dived headfirst into writing. Although, I went all out on this moodboard/post lolol.

Also glad that I got to help the @stucky-week team with creating an icon/banner <3 Those are always fun to come up with! :D
