Saberhorn met his partners by chance; they just happened to all have prison escape plans at the same time and teamed up easily to accomplish it. Afterwards they pooled in their general skills and assets and ended up creating a sort of “emergency Decepticon lodging” area in the city, nicknamed “the Island”, where cons can live in without too many questions being asked. Saberhorn is naturally flirty by instinct and would make passing compliments to his partners on a regular basis, but it was actually Glowstrike and Scorponok who hooked up first (they had high respect for one another). Saberhorn, although admittedly depressed from the turn of events, properly backed off from his advances, and by a week’s time, Glowstrike and Scorponok agreed it wasn’t really the same without him around with them, and asked him to join their relationship. Saberhorn is the most openly mushy of the three by far, but his partners enjoy it (but not in front of clients, “Primus! We have to at least seem intimidating, Saberhorn!” “Stop being charming, my loves, and I’ll retreat~”)
Roughedge was an awkward addition to the bounty hunting trio, especially when a lot of people discredited his switching over from being an Autobot (it hardly ever happens), but his teammates do trust him wholeheartedly and would back him up if needed. He’s still adjusting from being an officer, and admittedly can’t handle anything too gruesome or excessively violent. Sometimes he can be a liability. The trio took to working for Starscream as much as the next hired help, but didn’t expect it to end with him in a coma. That, that was a surprise to them.
Wildbreak knows both groups through bar meetups and Motormaster’s collaboration missions. He’s a bit frightened of them, but can at least work with them.
