Just past Ilex Forest, this route is filled with plenty of trainers awaiting challengers! Several Pokémon can be found in the tall grass here, including Pidgey, Drowzee, Ditto, and Rattata [full list here]

The Daycare is also on this route, for trainers who wish to leave their Pokémon to be raised there or who wish to breed their Pokémon. In generation II games, the player can enter the Daycare's backyard and interact with their Pokémon, and surf and fish in the pond
