“The beach,” you replied without a second of hesitation. “I need to get my tan on!”

“Damn straight,” Dean chuckled, walking up to you and wrapping his arm around your waist. “I’m with Roxy. Those stupid fruity umbrella drinks are calling my name.”

You tensed at Dean’s touch, trying to ignore the butterflies it automatically set off in your stomach, but, even so, you couldn’t help but lean into him ever so slightly. There’d always been an underlying sexual tension between you and Dean that you’d tried to fight, knowing that a relationship with him was never really possible, but, despite what you’re brain knew for a fact, you could never stop the way your body responded to him.

“Come on, Sammy,” you pleaded, praying that your voice didn’t reveal the effect Dean was having on you. “Let’s do the beach.”

Sam laughed and nodded. “Okay, Roxy. The beach sounds like fun. A good vacation might do us some good.”

“Mmm hmm...” Dean muttered, the rumble in his chest sending a chill through yours. “We leave in the morning!”

“Fantastic!” you responded, subtly pulling away from Dean and walking over to the library table to put some distance between the two of you. “And, I know just what I want to do when we get there!”

The reader is sassy af, and I relate all too well to how she acts when tipsy. Bec captures Dean’s teasing older brother reaction to all things Sammy. It’s all around super cute- seriously, go read it. I have been hooked on this series since the prologue. Every part that comes out breaks my heart a little more, and yet I have to keep reading and find out more. Reader is very relatable, which makes this series even more heart wrenching. I can’t wait to see how this turns out. PLEASE TELL ME THE BOYS FIND OUT SOON?? Warnings: Angst, abortion talk, alcohol consumption, a lot of cursing.  Snippet: “I’m gonna get…” he motioned but you interrupted what h had to say.“No!” you said loudly. “You can’t tell Sam and Dean, Cas.”The angel frowned, confused.“What do you mean?”“I mean that you’re gonna keep it a secret,” you managed to get on your feet. “You can’t tell anyone, Cas. I know I usually don’t rec RPF, especially with those who are married, but I’ve been in this position (huehuehue) before and I love where she went with it! The dream sequence made me giggle, and if I didn’t already have this as a kink, I would now! Warnings: NSFW. It’s just smut! Snippet: Jensen’s ears caught your sigh, but he tried to ignore it, pushing his face deeper into the pillow.

Best AU: We make our own future This week’s French Mistake is History of Us by @mysupernaturalfics. This is part one of a mini series based on an aesthetic and drabble from @thing-you-do-with-that-thing here. Ya’ll know I’m a sucker for AU’s, and getting to see Dean as something where his intelligence can shine, I’m excited. The imagery is done beautifully, and I cannot wait for more from this universe. Warnings: Destiel x reader, AU, flangst?  Snippet: “Dean knows the code to my door, he’s probably found the 6-pack of beer and meat lover’s pizza I left him. He’s a big boy, he’ll be here in the morning,” She answered with a smirk. It scared Cas a bit on how well she knew Dean and how well she knew him as well

Series of the Week: Yesterday was Tuesday, right? But today is Tuesday too SOTW goes to @roxyspearing and Falling In Love With You. This series is written in Dean’s POV and Roxy really captures the battle Dean is having with himself. I’m used to reading unrequited love from the reader to one of the boys,  seeing it in reverse from Dean’s POV is captivating and I can’t wait to read more. Warnings: mentions of previous injury, Dean’s eyes are bigger than his stomach, jealous Dean, protective Dean, talk of alcohol, unrequited love(?) Snippet: It’s a cheap ploy to get Sam off my back, but it works, Sam turning to check her out, before picking up his beer and heading over in her direction. Sitting down, I drink my beer and then Y/N’s, watching the two people I care most for in this world having some much-deserved fun. A couple of women come up to me, but I let them down gently, even if taking up one of their offers would take my mind off the woman I wish was with me for a few hours. Before I know it, it’s a couple of minutes before midnight, and I find myself outside, getting some fresh air and thinking about heading back to the motel when I hear Y/N’s voice.

More Like a Big Sister

Characters/Pairing: Dean x Reader - Reader x Jack (siblings-like)

A/N: I could’t help but notice Jack’s shoes in 13x09 The Bad Place and that kinds inspired this thing.

This is my first attempt writing Jack and also my contribution to @roxyspearing ‘s We Have A Gif For That Challenge/500 followers celebration, My prompt gif is below the cut. 

“How do you feel about laces?”

Jack narrows his beautiful blue eyes at you, thinking and nodding slowly. “I… like them?” he responds with doubt causing you to snort. He joins you in a humorless chuckle, not really understanding why he’s laughing.

“You don’t remember what laces are, right?” Jack blinks at you. “These are laces,” pulling one of your feet from under yourself you show him the boot laces.

“Ohh! I like them.” He says smiling and showing a little teeth. “But I haven’t learnt to do the bow the way you taught me. It keeps… falling off.”

“Okay. we have to keep practicing. Practice makes the master. In the meantime I got you a present!” Taking the brown paper bag -you’ve been carrying ever since you entered the bunker and the reason why you called Jack to meet you at the kitchen- from behind you and give it to him. “Open it!” you urge him with a grin.

Jack looks at you with pensive eyes before opening the bag and drawing a box from it. “Thank you,” he says with conviction and proceeds to inspect the box.

“You have to open that as well,” you instruct.

He smiles in agreement, placing the box in the kitchen floor, where you’re currently sitting, right in front of the two of you. “Wow!” he exclaims amazed, like a little kid as he retrieves one sneaker at a time from the box.

“That’s velcro, easier and faster to strap. You just gotta stick both parts together.” The creaking reasounds in the room while you show him repeatedly how to do it.

“Thank you, Y/N!” Jack jumps forwards and hugs you, never minding crushing his new shoes under his body.

“You’re so very welcome!!” You hug him back.

“Now I don’t have to ask Sam to tie my shoes for me anymore!” Jack is all smiles as he admires his gift.

“Try them on!” You encourage at the exact moment Dean walks into the kitchen.

“What are you two weirdos doing down there?” he asks walking past you with direction to the fridge.

“Y/N gave me velcro!” Jack laughs.

“New shoes, with velcro instead of laces,” you correct him and all the happiness  leaves your body the moment you watch Dean roll his eyes at you. “Jack, would you go try them in your room? I’ll check on you in a minute.”

You stand, shaking off with both hands whatever piece of dirt might have stuck to your butt and back of your legs, Jack does the same copying your actions before taking his gift with him and kissing your cheek so he can run off to his room.

“What the hell is the matter with you, why you gotta be like that?” standing by the fridge you ask Dean.  

Dean looks back at you, shaking his head like he doesn’t know what you’re talking about. “Like what?” he asks ducking back down inside the big door.

You walk around him considering pushing him inside but desist and lay against the other doors, the ones you know they never use and slap his butt to get his attention. “Like you hate the kid, and everything he does?”

Dean hisses and stands, beer in one hand an almost empty pie dish in the other. “And why you gotta act like you’re his mothe-Hey!!” he yells when you steal his pie.

“Okay. First, he already had a mother, we all knew Kelly and sadly she’s gone. And second… I’m way too young to be his mother,” you say walking away from Dean. He scoffs at your words. “I’m more like a big sister. The one that’d kick ass for him.”

“That’s the last piece,” he warns, before disappearing into the fridge again only to reappear with a second beer in hand.

You grab a plate and a fork from the pile on the counter, dismissing the crumpled aluminum dish before sitting at the table, Dean twists the bottle caps one at a time tossing them in the sink and then he takes the chair across the table from you. “Would you stop being so mean, please?” Looking straight to him, you beg and snatch back the plate with the last cherry pie slice before he can take it.

Dean’s eye find yours and you sigh. “Okay,” he pouts and you finally let him have his pie.

“We could totally have a teenage kid by now,” Dean says after a few moments of silent, the corner of his mouth muddy with pie filling.

“Maybe, if we woulda settled down and you know… Commit.” Nodding you take another swing of your beer and think for a moment. “Thank god we didn’t,” you snort, “I mean. We’re not cut out to be parents. Yeah, you raised Sam and and all that. But he was a good kid. Can you imagine a child that’s half you and half me? No thank you!” you add.

“Amen to that.” Dean lifts his bottle, clinking it with yours and you both laugh.

“Look, Y/N!” Your laughter is interrupted by Jack as he runs into the kitchen, big grin on his face, his fingers pointing down to his shoes.

“You did them perfectly!” Clapping your hands you stand up.

“This is nice,” Jack admits walking around the table, proud of what he accomplished. He looks down to his shoes smilling..

“I’m so proud of you!” you admit wrapping your arms around his neck and hugging him.

Jack smiles at you and then his gaze goes behind you to where Dean is standing.

“Awesome!” Dean’s suddenly pats Jack’s back as a sign of affection.

Jack’s eyes find yours, then go back to the tall man standing close to him and then back at you.

You shrug a little perplexed Dean would listen and do as you asked him to.

“Awesome!” Jack says, his own hand wrapping around Dean’s back.

Your eyes widen when the soft slapping sound is heard and you turn in your heels to admire the entire scene.

“Oh my god! You guys are so sweeeet!!” you squeal and clap again. “Let me take a picture of you!” you say digging for your phone in your pockets.

Dean drops his arm and goes back to the table o have his last bite of pie. “Why you had to ruin it?” he complains.

“Never mind grumpy,” you say to Jack, “you just smile and I’ll take your picture!”
