Grace hasn't seen another human in months and then he finds Simon and falls in love with him. Like, "Gosh, Ryland, you haven't interacted with a human in, like, a year and you fall in love with the first one you meet??? That's so embarrassing."

For a long time, he's convinced that he only likes Simon bc he's so starved for human contact

They fucking redesigned OUAS Frost and its so funny omg. They saw the fan reaction and were like Oh fuck, we might have to change this.

I like the new design better overall. He looks a lot less uncanny and I think a large part of that was the black coloration around his eyes. That and the white below the nose. I'm glad they blended it so it's less harsh.

I'm not a huge fan of the bangs, but he really does look so much better.

His shoes are so important to me... all black outfit with the quirky shoes... Frost, the man you are.

Saw a post talking about how Simon shouldn't be part-fish, but part-tree and had to throw my thoughts about it together.

Spoilers for Iron Lung

So, we know that, in the end, Simon explodes into a tree, killing Ellie, and stopping him from becoming apart of it. He is his own entity and, honestly, a giant tree growing from the bottom of the Blood Ocean is pretty sick.

My headcanon is that Simon is reborn through the Blood Tree. Resurrected is a better word, I suppose. He both is the Blood Tree and was born from it. I have this image in my head of Simon semi-encased in the trunk, almost as if in suspended animation or something. His body was destroyed along with Ellie and the SM-13, but it was regrown by the tree.

His mutations from the Blood Ocean are mostly healed and replaced with bark and other such things. The arm he lost is replaced with a branch-like appendage that resembles an arm. The skin on the side of his face that had mutated the worst is replaced with a tougher, bark-like skin.

He can feel through the bark-skin and it's slightly tougher than normal human skin. I like to think that he's got sap blood now

Anyway, to tie this into Bloodymary, Grace and Rocky come across the Blood Moon and notice there's a large biological organism within it. I'm not going to go into details because I don't actually have any, but Grace finds a human encased within the tree (wrapped in roots and bark, partially submerged), doesn't realize the person is literally a part of the tree, and pulls him out. Luckily, this doesn't kill Simon lol. Grace is under the impression that he just saved this guy and brings him aboard the Hail Mary.

After a lot of time and a lot of bonding, Simon allows Grace to run some tests. He's curious as to what's going on with him, because he remembers basically dying and wants to know how he survived.

Grace's tests show that Simon's DNA is mixed with that of taxus baccata, or yew tree. Although they don't have any samples of the tree Simon was pulled out of, they assume it was some kind of messed up yew. Grace has no idea how this could have happened as it doesn't seem remotely possible, but Simon realizes this must have something to do with the seed he found in the SM-13. That seed is no longer on his person and vague, disjointed memories lead him to believe it somehow grew.

Is it logical to say that the people of Eden knew the type of tree the Last Tree was? I assume they would, right????? Anyway, all of this is assuming the Last Tree was a yew tree. Because I said so (this is my headcanon, I make the rules).

The dots connect in Simon's mind, but it's so far-fetched that he doesn't fully believe it. It can't be possible, just like Grace said. But then again, a lot of things that happened to him shouldn't have been possible. He remembers his confrontation with the Entity (as I'm calling it) and wonders if it had something to do with this (it does).

Please consider a young and scared Starlight Frost living on the streets of District 87, hungry, in pain, hasn't had a roof over his head since he escaped the facility.

Imagine him dealing with the pain of his headaches all alone. He's curled up in an alley, wracked with pain and he can't stop the destruction he's causing. He'd probably try to find a place to hide that had the least amount of risk. "I won't break anything here." "If I stay here, I won't hurt anyone." And ride it out.

I detailed my personal head canons for how he met Kremy, I think that still stands. In OUAW, Kremy is 42 and Frost is in his 20s-30s (thanks for being vague, Derek), so he could be anywhere between 10-20 years younger than Kremy. So consider him being around 16 when he finally meets Kremy (in his early 30s perhaps) and is taken in.

He's just a sad and scared kid with no memories of how he ended up on the street. Kremy sees that he has crazy powerful abilities that cause him a lot of pain and is like "I gotta help this kid." He has a background in Chem Tech, so he knows he's probably one of the few people who actually could. Doesn't help that Frost is avoidant of hospitals, for reasons he won't disclose.

In episode 3, Frost mentions that Kremy took him to the Starlight Lounge, so I'll amend my previous hc because I didn't think the Starlight existed yet. Guess it did.

I was thinking Frost started out washing dishes. Kremy was like, "Alright, you gotta earn your keep." (But he doesn't really mean it. He's putting on a show for Gideon, who was dubious about the whole thing.) Frost was a lot like Meela in the early days. Scared and apologetic, didn't want to be left alone. He broke a lot of dishes in those days. Kremy worried the kid's head was gonna explode with how stressed he got over it. Kremy insisted it was fine, but Frost always worried he was going to get kicked to the curb.

I'm getting so off track, but imagine Frost seeing the neon lights of the Starlight and being absolutely mesmerized. Ough, my baby boy...

He's infamous in town, so it really only takes one person to wonder why there's a 10-year-old running around and not in school. Katherine tries to say he's being homeschooled, but caves when asked for proof.

I had a gag about how they need to dress him in normal kid clothes and that he and Esther are the same size, but I couldn't think of an outfit that matched her general style and Ben's. (They both give him clothes, but Ben's a little bigger.)

They all know that sending him to school is a terrible idea, but Katherine says she doesnt have a better one, so they'll just have to keep an eye on him. This makes Ben nervous, but Esther is ready to cause chaos with him.

Abaddon pitches a fit about having to go to school, but he warms up to the idea once Ben and Esther explain how school works. Much like the rollyfluff episode, he wants to be the most popular kid at school so he can make the students do his bidding.

It can go one of two ways: he's successful in having a small clique of kids to torment (praying upon the weaker ones who "need direction") OR

No one takes him seriously and he gets bullied lol

I think it could be fun because we could potentially see more of Heather. I really like her and Esther's dynamic, plus I think it would be funny if she were just there witnessing the chaos. She's at least met Abaddon, so it could be interesting to see their dynamic.

Meanwhile, Ben is trying to keep Esther and Abaddon in check the whole time. He does not succeed.
