the match was done and dusted at the toss anyway so let me take some positives from this one:

virat kohli still has this incredible ability to find the gap on the field - those 4s he was hitting were pristine! he needs to just stick to his usual anchoring role though it's what he does best!

devdutt padikkal showed great intent - got lucky with a few of his boundaries today but still he was looking to get a start for his team

rajat patidar is the best leader of the pack so far - didn't think of overhitting it when the team was collapsing on the other end - incredible player of spin and read the match situation really well

romario shepherd tried his best to rebuild the innings with rapa!

venky iyer rcb debut! again great reading of the game and really took on the final over to try and swing some momentum our way (wish he had played some bigger shots earlier though)

bhuvi also contributed a teeny tiny bit with the bat! :') and relatively didn't go for as many runs so he helped reduce the NRR gap

somehow we went from 125/7 to 200 at the end. so proud.

hoff - (not biased at all) where do i even start with him oh god - in this year's ipl so far, josh hazlewood is the only bowler to take an rr wicket in the powerplay! he got one of those two dangerous left handers out and it only took him 5 balls to work his magic! and he looked so proud of it too i am so happy he's come back to the sport and is back to loving it and enjoying it - i only ever want to see him happy and play forever that's it

krunal pandya our clutch spin bowler!!!! he should be our go-to man for everything from here on

and we dragged the second innings out from 78 in 5 overs for RR to the end of the 18th over - reducing damage to our nrr again which will be useful in the long term!
