#running is funning

So over Easter I decided that I’m doing a Marathon with my Stepmom and Brother in November. So today was day 1 of prep! Goal #1 is more miles and more smiles!

I do plan on taking pictures along the way to share more, as it’s one of the goals I’ve had for a while now!

Journey back to running - 6th run back!

Just had a very nice run!!!!! and I'm super glad I did it, cause I really did not want to when I got home from work today! Doing it anyways gives me hope that I'll continue to do the things I like doing even if "I don't want to." I'm Excited for many more miles this summer.

Going for a run today in the ice, wind and rain was some major fun! It started out with me just getting pelted in the face with ice pellets which stung but was kinda funny. Then the ice/rain tapered off and I got to take a look at the river which was flowing real fast! Then on the way back home it started raining real hard and one of the tunnels I had to run through was actively flooding like water was pouring out of the ceiling and the wall at the far end which looked mad cool and I had to like dodge it a leap over it to avoid getting a soaker. (another tunnel had flooded at the end too which was fun) by the end of the run I was a soggy mess but grinning from ear to ear! I love March!

Currently placed 1st in my virtual race today let’s see how long this lasts!
