Patience is a virtue
Missing the good ol’ simple life, when after an exam we would go to the beach, rivers, or waterfalls!!
When my pre-medical advisor told me to quit my dream I almost believed on him. I went home and cried, and cried, and cried. And when I ran out of tears, the only thing I had to do is smile, and prove him wrong. In less than one week I am taking my 3rd semester final. Shout out to Ross University that believed in me and to the professors/Drs who teach us to be a better person, and succeed REGARDLESS of the circumstances.

Regrann from @tr3_ern3st_wilkins - THE CHAINS ARE BROKEN!!! As I understand what my ancestors had to endure in the heart of Mississippi, how my family and friends have supported me, and my associates whom have encouraged me along the way, I know I could not have finished this race alone. Despite obstacle after obstacle and all of the negativity, I was still able to succeed. THE CHAINS ARE BROKEN!!! You're looking at a first generation doctor, a minority, and a Mississippi raised African American male. I am humbled, ecstatic, grateful, proud, and in awe simultaneously. With that being said, I am humbled and proud to announce that I have matched in Internal Medicine at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS! #We #Made #It #MatchwithSNMA #RUSM @kapsi1911 Photo Cred📸: Tommy Walters (at Lineup)
Do not ever say he was lucky that he did not feel pain.
Sunset from sister’s, Dominica
After hurricane Maria destroyed Dominica where I attend Ross University I decided to not continue through this semester. My classmates that decided to go are staying in a cruise boat docked in St. Kitts, they are facing massive challenges and are going through them like champions. I applaud the students at the floatingU! Furthermore we just got news that we are moving to Knoxville TN for our spring semester, and until school is up and running in Dominica. I can’t wait to go back to school!
