I hear there's an assembly going on? My bros were saying they showed video of JWs getting confronted by authorities in Russia. No doubt using it as propaganda to spread the fear of persecution. Imho Anyone else hear stuff like that?
I think so, either that or the videos came from a more recent assembly/convention. I honestly don’t keep up to date when those kinds of things happen. I did see a video about JWs facing difficulties around the world, ranging from job problems to literal threats of death. Jehovah helped out in a sister getting the perfect job for her schedule, but another sister got her car stolen in a different part of the world. But that totally means it’s the end times, right? The big man upstairs works in mysterious ways~~~
Anyways, I do feel bad about what’s happening to these people in Russia, that is legitimately terrible. No one should be persecuted for their beliefs. But the higher ups of the religion are DEFINITELY using it for their persecution complex. As well as a way to scare their believers into thinking that it really is the end times.
