The plot twist (you know the one) works so well. It’s so simple yet so satisfying.

I cried from relief again over Weiss. I cried from love again over Yang.

And let’s not even talk about Beeunion 1.0!

I love the writing on this show so much.

Similarities and differences within parallels are my bread and butter

Ozpin taking over without permission vs Ozpin relinquishing control to Oscar when Oscar asked permission. Ozpin saying “Please, let me fight” vs Oscar who said “Please let me” (talk). Arguing vs teamwork. Both of them asking and being met with confusion. Oscar refusing vs Ozpin agreeing. Oz talking about how Hazel is too far gone to change vs Oscar putting his trust in Hazel. Ozpin’s angry, calculated expression towards Hazel vs Oscar’s expression of vulnerable compassion. Hazel attacking Ozpin vs Hazel stopping his torturing of Oscar.
