Finally I have all my cat's tests and it seems like everything is very much treatable so

It's Monday!

‘Not in the mood… How about we talk?’ Buck carefully lies down next to him ‘Deal. About what?’ ‘I wasted more than half a year in a place I don't want to think of. But you on the other hand… how many people have you slept with in this specific bed?’ Buck chokes and almost falls of the bed ‘Sorry, what?’ Eddie giggles  ‘I mean… I love you. So I'm interested in that part of your life I missed. And also I'm interested if I need to burn this bed down to ashes cause…’ Buck shakes his head and looks straight at the ceiling  ‘To be honest. After Tommy…’ ‘You slept here with Tommy Kinnard while I was supposedly dead?!’ Now it's Buck's turn to giggle  ‘Actually, I slept with him here while you were in Texas… We broke up the very next morning. After it… I haven't slept with anyone. I mean…’ Eddie watches him closely so he can't miss he blushes  ‘You mean what?’ ‘I have an enormous amount of dreams…’ ‘And?’ ‘About you. Even before I understand why I have them. So, apparently… the bed is safe for now.’ Eddie just looks at him for several minutes not saying a word before eventually starting  ‘Do you regret it?’

Well I actually need this specific scene in s9 so badly I could write a fic on that.

Buck checks another listing, groans and closes the laptop  ‘Everything is too expensive, too messy, too far away or just bad in general, I'll never find an apartment!’  Eddie shrugs and passes him a beer  ‘Then you just stay here, I genuinely can't see an issue’ - ‘Well. Maddie…’ Eddie looks confused: ‘Your sister is an issue? She's having two kids right now, she can't possibly be an issue herself’ Buck smirks and looks away: ‘Well, she kinda told me one thing.. I can't stop thinking of.’ - ‘I don't follow’ - ‘Well. She said. If I live in your house.. like I lived in Abby's house. She asked if I'm in love with you’  Eddie chokes on his beer and places the bottle on the table. Very carefully  ‘Well…’ - ‘She said it wouldn't be so crazy, can you imagine?!’  - ‘Yeah…’ Buck drinks. Eddie looks at him for some time  ‘Are you?’ - ‘What?’ The smile on Eddie's face is tricky  ‘Are you in love with me?’

It's Monday and I didn't miss it

Eddie looks at his broken puzzle with so much anger he's surprised it's not self-inflating on the spot.  Athena ruined a giant piece of it, a third at least. And he couldn't find several pieces after. Amazing. Hell he hates puzzles!  He takes a sip from his kitten glass - actually, here, at Maddie's he's pretty much fine with cups but it's still a bad day so glass with the lid it is - and exhaustedly looks at the ceiling.  Athena is right. She tries. Everyone around him… tries for some reason. He just can't see how it could work. On the other hand, he's been at home for some time already and there's no one hiding in the closet with a lorazepam syringe. Maybe he has just grown so enormous paranoia it's starting to mess around with his reality?  In reality he's…fine. Working on the worst puzzle ever, ignoring crosswords, tapping pens, commands, holters… this list is infinite.  He's broken, obviously. Broken objects are disposed of.  He's not disposed of yet.  That means he's not an object. Eddie chuckles.  That means someone is pretty lazy. Otherwise he would have at least one confirmation of his own existence by now. Not restricted files. He just can't understand why… it still doesn't feel like an end. It feels like the eye of the storm he is stuck into.  He has to do something. Eddie takes a piece of the sky. So he will do the puzzle.

It seems like my valentine's day story lost in my own Tumblr so I repost it.

‘Tell me about your dream date’ Buck stops cleaning the engine side lights and turns around ‘What?’ ‘Your dream date. I need ideas! Valentine's Day is around the corner and I have nothing! So I'm collecting options.’ Buck looks at Eddie more surprised than confused ‘First of all - you have a date. That's new. When did you plan to share it? Like, breaking news, Eddie Diaz took off his chastity belt?’ ‘Well…’ Eddie scoffs ‘Just help me, okay? I swear, you'll know everything after.’ Buck shrugs and goes back to work ‘I dunno. I mean, I even tried a threesome at some point and…’ ‘That - is definitely not an option. Next? I mean. Chim thinks the best date is with no kids, I get it. Hen suggested a science fair? I think it was Karen talking inside her. Ravi gave me a checklist of forty eight activities that reminded me I'm fucking old cause I dozed off reading it.’ Buck is polishing the lights but his chuckle reads even from his back ‘I think… classic. I mean, when I dated Abby I took her on a hot air balloon trip… kinda. I had to leave. Or a restaurant she liked. But she had to cut my throat and…’ ‘I’m sorry what now? Buck, I asked about a dream date not a date you almost died on, gees.’

Well well well. We made it to the end of arc!

Look who's run away

Eddie opens his eyes when the engine stops at the traffic light. And his head is still on Buck's lap even if someone managed to buckle his seatbelt.  He's still in the engine. Not in the hospital room. Not in the lab. Not in hell. Well, that's, of course, discussable. But there's Buck and Chim and Bobby and none of them could possibly be in hell.  So they… they made it.  This doesn't fit in his head - maybe that's the reason he has such a terrible headache. Or his trip from the room to the engine is a reason. Or sounds. So many different sounds at once he hadn't heard for half a year. Cars around. Working engine. Voices. Okay, voices were pretty low and now they suddenly stopped. Then Bobby starts  ‘Diaz? How do you feel?’ He doesn't know. It's ridiculous. But he can't answer.  Well. He can. That's even more ridiculous. Because there's one thing he can say for sure  ‘Pretty comfortable.’

Don't stop@won't stop.

I mean I have a plot! Not only drama? Amazing! Hate it.

Bobby looks around. Then back to his wife  ‘Where’s Buck? Is something wrong with him?’ She pauses.  ‘He's fine. In the car. Don't talk here’ Bobby arches his eyebrows but says nothing going to the exit. Chimney follows him in the same silence. Not in the same, though. Bobby feels there's something wrong. But Athena asked not to talk. And she never asks that with no reason. Bobby gets that everything is wrong when they are next to Athena’s car. Because Chimney can't open the door - his hands don't cooperate. Athena helps him, looking around. Waiting for something.  The moment Bobby gets on the front seat - she starts the car and basically launches from the hospital parking lot. Only then she turns to Chim just a little  ‘You okay?’ ‘No…are you… Athena, are you sure?’ Another pause when Bobby understands absolutely nothing but feels it's too important to interrupt. ‘Yes’ ‘Fuck’ Bobby can't remember Chim swears. He definitely needs to interrupt now  ‘Can you maybe enlighten me on the situation?’ ‘In a moment. Chim. You need to ask Maddie to take Chris. Buck stays at the hospital for.. some time. Don't say anything else. Just that’ ‘Already on it’  Bobby looks at him in the rear view mirror. Notices a nervous shaking, heavily breathing - obvious stress markers. And stares at Athena ‘I need to know what's going on, Athena. It's about my people in the end…’ She checks if her radio is turned off. ‘It's Diaz.’

Valentine's day one shot is done.

But here's a tiny tiny sneak peak

‘Here, your coffee. So, did you manage to plan your dream date?’ Eddie takes a mug from Buck's hands and grins ‘More or less. You helped a lot. I mean… It was a challenge to book a table and stuff but in the end it should be worth it. You?’ ‘I'm babysitting. So Chim has his dream date - thanks for letting me know by the way.’ The mug in Eddie's hands shakes just a bit ‘That’s your plan?’ ‘You know...’ Buck takes a sip from his own cup to stop himself from saying something stupid. Something like ‘You should come. You should stand your date up and come. I'll bake your favourite scones.’  He takes another sip. Finally Eddie scoffs  ‘I know what? Cause apparently I don't’ ‘I decided to step out from dating for some time. I told you, it's ‘who’. I'm waiting for… the right person.’ Who, apparently, is a straight renter. Fuck.

Hell knows I'm struggling with my story but

Here's a little piece to prove I'm working on it!!

Buck pushes the speed dial. Waits for a minute ‘Hi. You've called Diaz. Please don't leave a message I'm not calling back anyway.’ It was funny before. Buck thought it's hilarious. Now it's not. Because Eddie's not calling back. He can't. Buck just keeps dialing his number now and then because it's the only place he can listen to Eddie's voice. Hell he's afraid to forget it. He calls again ‘Hi. You've called Diaz. Please don't leave a message I'm not calling back anyway.’ … ‘Hi. You've called Diaz. Please don't leave a message I'm not calling back anyway.’ … ‘Hi. You've called Diaz. Please don't leave a message I'm not calling back anyway.’ Maybe he waits for something else. Maybe he hopes for something else. It's funny, Eddie's phone lies in the kitchen drawer. And soulless machine keeps saying ‘Hi. You've called Diaz. Please don't leave a message I'm not calling back anyway.’ At some point Buck thinks he needs to leave a message anyway. ‘Hi. You've called Diaz. Please don't leave a message I'm not calling back anyway.’ His face is covered in tears and yet it doesn't change a thing. So he just closes his eyes and listens to the words he knows and hates. He doesn't care about the words. He listens to the voice only. ‘Hi. You've called Diaz. Please don't leave a message I'm not calling back anyway.
